- Building the the crazy Land Rover D90 was very simple! And wow it is so much fun watching it racing around like something possessed!
I have a Brand New WLtoys 144001 coming very soon and will be making a 'Speed' build using a Brushless set up. I'm sure it won't be the fastest WLtoys 144001 in the world, but it will be fun trying to see how fast we can get it!

This thing is brilliant. Perfect mix of basher and scale. I’ve never been a fan of the small basher bodies but this scale body looks great drifting in the dirt. Brilliant camera and editing as well. Nicely done.

I love just how stable this chassis is as a platform for experimentation. I have an ABS Mardave Rebel shell on mine.
Yes, it's really good, and even with a bit more weight up top, it didn't roll once

What an excellent montage! The way you hold those l o n g drifts while recording the action leaves me speechless with admiration.
If I were to put the same body on my mini Slash it would grip-roll so horribly I´d have to take it off, which shows that clever, posh F1-style front suspension might not be any better than a conventional system, depending on the application.
Thanks Del. Luckily this was quite easy to control one handed, so the long drifts were not to hard.... took a few attempts to get a good shot or two. I think this chassis is very stable because of the low CofG...even with the hard body, the Alloy chassis keeps the weight down low. And the lack of grip on this dusty/dirty surface was enough to keep it sliding rather than traction rolling.
@@TomleyRC If I take my Slash to one of a couple of certain specific places with a very loose slidy surface I can do lovely long four-wheel drifts, but it´s nothing like as stable as this is in a slide.

First off, I really enjoy your videos. I'm hoping you can help me out with a curiosity..
Since you have driven this, and I'm pretty sure most every 1/14 scale buggy out there. By chance do you know if the 144010, the Amoril, LC EMB-1, etc.. are very closely modeled like the Losi mini 8? I'd love to do a body like that on my Losi. And is it possible to use the front CVDs from any of them on the Losi?

Thanks Steven. This is just using a GoPro Hero 7 Black and a telescopic pole/selfie stick. Oh... and lots of practice at driving one handed!

That looks brilliant. I don’t suppose you tried the mn99s body? Is it slightly shorter? Maybe the rear wheels would align in the arches slightly better?
It's a little wider, so the wheels rub more. I love how crazy it looks haha

I'm not a basher guy but I gotta admit that things awesome 😎👍. You should make a chin spoiler (or whatever u call them in the uk,lol) to keep the front planted. Cool and fun little build and video,good job as always
Yes, a crazy chin spoiler would look cool. A bit like a 'Pikes Peak' truck

For your speed build you might like to try just rear wheel drive with a gyro for the steering servo. It's been reported over on the RC Groups thread that the lower drag give a higher top speed

How did you modify to fit MND90 1:12 body to WL 1:14 buggy
It's a Fayee FY003, and it was a case of cutting a few bits out and making body mounts
The wheelbase looks a little off but other than that it looks amazing

I just seen this I have a mn90 body sat on my side and was working on my 124019 looking for a body with more room and seems to have a lot more room even tho not really any mounting points unless u spend money
I have a 144001 but mine seems like it's got no acceleration, not much punch either. Any advice?
