Marvin's my favorite character on the show. His downfall seems inevitable this season. He's likeable and seems to be able make friends in different circles, but he gets too comfortable with people outside of street culture.

Look at Tommy's father he was old af but still puttin in work lol

I really do think Gerald is a journalist. They often write about crime and have connections to law enforcement bc they have to make sure everything is 100% facts before it’s published. What I have noticed about the Power universe is that there are queens (strongest piece on chessboard) and that there hasn’t really been a kingpin. I think in order for Juke to really snap and become crazy - her father has to die. She is beginning to form a solid bond with him. What else could cause Juke to become the Juke we know from Power?

Historically,the finale is always big for Marvin. Season 1 he ended up in jail, Season 2 he was in a shootout and got hit but he beat both. Season 3 will be interesting.

The death of Marvin would open the door for a different comedic / action-adventure talent to occupy that space on the show - likely someone from Ronnie's associates that Kanan met in the club. It seems somehow likely to happen, and would explain some of Jukebox's decisions, I feel like a lot of why she is pursuing the singing is more for pleasing and keeping the peace with her Dad at this point than for herself, I'm not convinced her heart is in that enough anymore. It would explain why Jukebox was even willing to join the military or Law Enforcement, I don't think she would go through with any of those two options if Marvin is still alive. I'm not sure Marvin is the type to allow himself to get taken to prison peacefully given that he has already been there before.
By Marvin going jail, it will move key characters along like jukebox becoming more of a dark character similar to how Kanan is right now, most likely quitting the girl group, & more. Raq will be weak without Marvin giving Kanan more of an advantage to take over the streets and much more will happen if Marvin does end up in prison. One thing I do believe is that the police will have a win by the end of the season whether that’s catching any of the Thomas family, Det. Howard getting caught for giving out info, etc. Power always has a tendency to play it out this way.
So this why juke becomes a cop trying to get ha dad out and when ghost send Kanan to jail juke sees it as a opportunity to become a dirty cop to help her family
Im starting to think that Marvin's rehab buddy is a undercover cop, why else would they keep him around, and he does ask Marvin some critical questions. Either that or by him being a journalist he will dig up things on Marvin and snitch to the Feds and Marvin will get locked up.
Gerald is a journalist and he’s definitely probing for what he believes is a big story. Which I think he’ll write and it’ll get Marvin and the fam caught up. Marvin will go to jail and/ or get knocked off. Jukes singing career might be a casualty and that’s how she gets on the law enforcement career path.

The death of Marvin would open the door for a different comedic / action-adventure talent to occupy that space on the show - likely someone from Ronnie's associates that Kanan met in the club.
It seems somehow likely to happen, and would explain some of Jukebox's decisions, I feel like a lot of why she is pursuing the singing is more for pleasing and keeping the peace with her Dad at this point than for herself, I'm not convinced her heart is in that enough anymore.
It would explain why Jukebox was even willing to join the military or Law Enforcement, I don't think she would go through with any of those two options if Marvin is still alive.
I'm not sure Marvin is the type to allow himself to get taken to prison peacefully given that he has already been there before.
By Marvin going jail, it will move key characters along like jukebox becoming more of a dark character similar to how Kanan is right now, most likely quitting the girl group, & more. Raq will be weak without Marvin giving Kanan more of an advantage to take over the streets and much more will happen if Marvin does end up in prison. One thing I do believe is that the police will have a win by the end of the season whether that’s catching any of the Thomas family, Det. Howard getting caught for giving out info, etc. Power always has a tendency to play it out this way.
So this why juke becomes a cop trying to get ha dad out and when ghost send Kanan to jail juke sees it as a opportunity to become a dirty cop to help her family

Gerald is a journalist and he’s definitely probing for what he believes is a big story. Which I think he’ll write and it’ll get Marvin and the fam caught up.
