I discovered when using the small rig with an adaptor for EF mount lens or speed booster you have to remove the tripod mount in order to attach the adaptor to the camera.
Such a great video and funny too. This is my first time seeing one of your videos and you’ve earned yourself a new subscriber! As for the single camera strap piece I believe some people use a wrist strap!
That’s awesome! I’m so excited for you! The M50 is such a capable camera and the cage definitely helps with better grip! Keep us updated and thank you so much for your support!
great video! I am considering getting one for my m50 just because I travel so much and dont like it being checked out even in my carry on for that matter! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the video! I just got my SmallRig delivered and it looks like the design is slightly different. I noticed I can't use the zip tie as a second securing location anymore because the cage no longer extends that far. 🤔 Anyone else recently make this purchase and noticed the difference from the SmallRig being used on this video? Was the model redesigned?
Thank you for your kind words and support! I have a 5 inch Feel World monitor and it is working great with the M50. The only thing is when you use an external monitor on the M50, the screen on the M50 will be off. I will try to do a video on that combination! Thank you so much for the support and suggestion!
Great video! I'm new in this video world. Please one question. At the bottom of the cage, do you have a peak desing base for mounting on the tripod? Thanks in advance and sorry for my English, i'm still learning
That’s a great question! I had a Peak Design quick release plate for the Peak Design clip that you can mount on a backpack, not for a tripod. Hope it helps! Welcome to the video world and thank you so much for your support!
That’s a great question! That is my favourite monitor from Feelworld! You can find it here: amzn.to/31m9gFH Hope it helps! Thank you so much for your support!
I am interested in this cage for my M5...is the grip comfortable when pressing buttons and rotating ferrules? especially the one around the shutter button. I already bought a brandless cage for another camera (Sony Rx100) because of the big grip, just to find out it wasn't designed to be used by human hands.
That's a great question! This cage does not prevent you from using any of the buttons and dials on the camera at all when using the grip, it feels very comfortable to me! Hope it helps! Thank you so much for your support!
Smallrig cages for the M50 are about useless. If you use a top handle you loose the shoe on the frame because the handle mount blocks it. You then are left with still only one cold shoe and NONE of the attachments they sell will work on this cage. The shoe extension that they will try to sell you for a second shoe will bind on the front dial rendering it inoperable. Also the shoe is a one way mount so if you have a audio transmitter or something with a combination pocket clip/shoe attachment that needs to enter from the back towards the front you're screwed because the only way to mount it, it will be facing the wrong way, in my case with the antenna towards me and the connections towards the subject. Terrible design and their support is horrible, wait for an email from China and then they just jerk you around.

OMG! You are the 🐐! I used a mini all black zip tie and you can’t even see it. You’re awesome💯
That’s awesome! A black zip tie will be much nicer! Thank you so much for your kind words and support!
Totally using the zip tie idea, I used a black one and it blends a bit better😜...thanks brother!!
You are very welcome! That’s awesome! I’m glad that the video helped! Thank you so much for your support!
Great video, this is the second video I’ve seen with the zip tie. Gotta do what you gotta do!
Thank you so much for your kind words and support!
I subscribed right after the Zip tie DIY tip lol *_BRAVO_* sir TY what I'll do is get a black color so it matches.

Thanks. I bought the M50 last week. I have big hands and I've almost dropped it several times already. Subbed you.

I like my smallrig cage for my canon mark ii because it makes my camera bigger and I have huge hands.
That’s a great reason to have a camera cage. Thank you so much for supporting the video!
Interesting video. The strap holes (top & bottom) on the ride side are for smallrig hand strap.
nice video man! just put some backround music in there, it will make your videos much more energetic
Thank you so much for your suggestion! I will try it in my future video! Thank you so much for your support!

Thanks for the review. Does the cage prevent the flip screen from fully opened? Thanks
That's a great question! The cage does not prevent the flip screen from fully open. It allows access to all the ports as well. Hope it helps!
Can you still use accessories like a monopod or tripod with the smallrig cage attached?
What size is your feel world screen? Can you do a review and how it performs with the M50 ? Good content BTW!

Thank you Henry! Appreciate your feedback!
Anthony Avila You are very welcome! Thank you for your support!
I have tought about it, but always worried about the stress on the screw with heavier lenses.

Great video! just add some backround music and it would be perfect
Thank you so much for your support and suggestion! I will definitely try to add some music in my videos!
Have you ever used the m50 cage on a joby 5k ballhead? Wondering if it fits or do I need to use the mounting plate that comes with the joby :)
BTW love my small rig. I have the updated version.
Can you tell me something more about your monitor? The top cover for the monitor?
