I am disappointed in this journalist for allowing himself to be bullied by Afenyo Markin. He allowed himself to be forced by Afenyo to say what he wants. The fact is that Afenyo is not the majority leader, and the journalist should have called his bluff. Evans Mensah needs to start listening to matters that are discussed outside the JoyFm regime change agenda corridors. The SC has explained why these LGBTQ+ cases pending at court have not been dealt with and placed the delay is caused by the litigants themselves
The LGBTQ issue has not been heard yet and by the time this law suit is heard, we're in the 9th parliament. I strongly suggest this matter would not be concluded by the Supreme Court this year.

Evans, there is no grey area anywhere. This futuristic thing does not make sense. Are you saying that the member from a party who files to contest as an independent will only vacate his seat in future when he wins and becomes an independent candidate in a different parliament? It makes no sense. The provision talks about the present, and that isthee only way it will make any sense. I wonder why these same people never saw this phantom futuristic thing when Mike Ocyuaye ruled similarly in the last parliament? Let us not put unreasonable and weird interpretations to constitutional provisions that are ckear, simple, and easy to understand and interpret by any lay person.
