Until I found this channel my knowledge of, and interest in horses was sort of neutral. Now? Am utterly amazed by, and in love with these amazing, very big horses. Uniek is stunning, Risey is beyond beautiful, as he steals my heart. Watching the interaction between the humans and the horses 🐎 refreshes my spirits, which really helps me through the isolation required by covid. Today's video was as beautiful and joyful as the one where Risey was introduced to his foster mom Uniek.Thank you so much for bringing so much joy to my days. From Arizona...
I also was ambivalent about horses. I discovered the beauty of Fresians when I visited a Fresian stable in New Hampshire. When I happened on your channel I got addicted. The relationship that Yvonne has with the horses, seeing Uniek adopting Rising Star and the care and training of the horses is so interesting. They were a match made in heaven; a grieving mare and a motherless foal. Uniek showed what a great mother she is. RS has thrived and grown under the care of Uniek. I
I think maybe Risey was visiting his first mama in his dreams, and telling her all about Yvonne and Uniek. That he is okay, but he wishes they had just a little more time together. His first mama is asking Risey to tell Yvonne and Uniek "Thank you for taking such good care of my baby. I am very grateful." 🙏♥️
That is amazing. Astounding show of trust from Risey. For a sleeping horse to lie on someone is a real treat. Yvonne has managed to earn both Uniek and Riseys love and trust.
Yeah I just watched it and I can't believe it. I mean it's mind blowing. Yvonne is one sweet lady to be able to gain that much trust in RS I think it's amazing. RS is amazing❤
When you and Faya first entered the stall to pet Risey, Uniek comes by to say, "What about me?" Geertje did a fine job fitting everyone into the camera frame! Goedzo!
This is how horses are trained. RS is accepting his ears being touched. He enjoys it very much. Uniek is accepting her foal being touched and allows others in her stall. Uniek ascents touch all over her body and is not afraid. Training through love.

Awe, Risey is loving all the face scritches and pets. That boy is tired and very relaxed. Uniek, being the best Mom ever, is concerned what Yvonne and Faya are doing to her son!! Faya is such a cutie, and she loves these horses.

It is truly amazing, that Uniek, after knowing Yvonne for almost 16 years, is STILL protective of her colt!! Maybe she does have memories of having lost one...and became more vigilant a s aresult? Or maybe I imagine too much! ( whichever, but The Queen is forever a very good Mem!)
Rising 🌟Star is one very lucky colt!...and will be a Yearling, in just 4 more months! Where did that time disappear to, whilst we were busily " falling in love" with the 2 most famous Friesians in modern history??

Uniek was so careful wit the girl. Standing completly still, not moving a muscel. Its like she was thinking a baby human must be careful. Moving slowly to be where she is. RS is just something special and the bond you have to. Love it!

One of my friends has a horse that is quite wild, she isn't very careful, and enthusiastic, but when my youngest daughter is near she is the sweetest, gentlest horse ever. I'm certain horses know when there's young around, and behave accordingly.

I love how Rising Star is so trusting in Yvonne and you can see how much she loves him while he has his head on her lap. He looks so comfortable and happy to have Yvonne there! I hope Yvonne gets much better soon, I know she has to be missing Rising Star and Uniek. Yvonne and Bauke and the boys are all in my prayers.
It is a beautiful thing when Rising Star, Yvonne and Uniek enter the mutual loving zone. This time Geertje and Faya so harmoniously joined in. The more I watched it, the more delighted I became. How often do different species communicate at that level. It's a special event. I think Yvonne is smitten with Rising Star. Her feelings just flow out of her heart. I was like that with my beautiful American Thoroughbred, South Spring; we just belonged together, and we spent 7 blissful years together. I was born revering horses and enjoying their company. I can see that with Yvonne. The horses know what a beautiful person she is. Thank you for sharing. ♥️♥️♥️😊🤗🤗🤗🤗

That has to be the CUTEST moment I’ve ever seen, truly precious!! Rising Star is such a baby boy and it’s quite obvious he loves his human mom as much as his adoptive mom! You could do a Uniek, RS, Faya, and Yvonne calendar, just interacting with the horses. This was one of my favorite videos!

Risey is so trusting. Such a sweetheart. And Uniek is her usual unique self... looking out for Risey as he rests and also demanding some of the loving for herself. I didn't know horses dreamed like that. So cool to watch.
When I saw a picture of this before, I thought Risey looked sad. But he's really just a big, sleepy baby! It's a completely different day from when Yvonne was on her knees with Uniek's foal Star while the rain poured on the roof. Now the most "Unique" mother and foal are with Yvonne on the floor again while it rains, and await a brother or sister for Risey. It's amazing how time changes everything! 😀💕
I believe Risey is mesmerized by you, Yvonne! I expected him to get up but he didn't. He's so docile! And Uniek looked like she was sleeping standing up by Geertje and Faya. Faya is so cute!
Geertje is so good at filming, looking for interesting angles and shots. I like Fayas sweet hugs for Uniek. The rain and the peaceful setting with Rising Star asleep on Yvonnes lap, made me feel like taking a nap myself. He has at least another 3 years of growing left to do even more if he is kept as a stallion
@@tiamariajones6634 I kind of hope Risey gets gelded, so it won't be an issue about how he is stabled and in which pasture with which horses he is kept. There's plenty of warmblooded horses out there anyway. But if he is kept a stallion, I will likely respect that decision too. Depends on the reasons.
Seeing RS lying down next to Yvonne really puts his growth in perspective. He’s gotten so big!
A bond you will have forever. This kind of trust is so beautiful. I had a three year old appaloosa gelding that would sometimes do this same thing. The first time I worried he was sick but it happened many more times between us and I came to realize just how relaxed and safe he felt. He would fall asleep and snore and I would laugh and pet him until my legs and fingers were getting numb from a horse in my lap! 💜
Faya is cute. She looks like her mom. RS is relaxed and trusting. That is how he survived in order to have a new mommy in Uniek. Uniek is trusting to or she would not allow you in the stall with her child. Senne wants attention too.
I know….😘Senne is wanting for her turn to come around. All the animals have such a sweet disposition. ❤️

I have seen grown geldings laying down on their owner's lap 😊 I highly recommend checking out the equestrian Shelby Dennis, also on RUclips! Her horses even lay on eachother. She has a special little colt too, called Banksy. You'll love him too if you love Risey!

I am writing this on July 1st, not long after Yvonne’s accident…so many are praying for her recovery, and re-watching older videos-yes, to please RUclips’s algorithms and keep the channel going, but also for the comfort of seeing Yvonne happy, healthy, in her element. This one makes me cry, but also gives me joy to see how happy she was with Risey napping on her lap and trusting her completely-it must have been pure bliss for Yvonne! I hope and pray that her injuries will heal, and that she will remember this sweet day with her horses and her friends…may she return to her life, her beloved family, and to joyful, ordinary, and precious days.
