Kerr has *not* learned his lesson from this win. Just watch Kerr’s post game comments. He will play Kyle Anderson at the four not because he learned that size in that position benefits them and that it allows the smaller guys to play more in their own position., but only because Kuminga got hurt and couldn’t play the four. So sadly, don’t expect long term changes. Kerrs postgame comments speak for themselves.
That was a game !! They played with unity ! A few messy spots but that’s okay , everyone was in a zone … I like Spencer , he brings high energy , Dray was good last night , Wiggs!!! , I hope JK is okay , he’s playing so well …. Dennis looked good last night , way more comfortable… The Refs need to be indicted for their bullshit calls against the Warriors .. slo mo is such an interesting player ! He’s sneaky and efficient when he’s allowed to play longer than 5 minutes …. Let’s keep it going and climb out of the hole. Another game today hopefully they bring same intensity , Kerr keeps the line ups smart , not small …. Go Dubs !!!
To me the Warriors win 1 game and they celebrate to soon! They losing by 30 and Steve just got a tech. Steve needs to get fire and the whole Warriors team need to go back to G- league.
@@g-yan8698 i disagree..i feel steph should play more and more at the Pg spot...when he is playing sg he isn't as effective and we see him not get into his rhythm for scoring...steph is at his strongest when he has the ball he can eassily average 25 and 10 if he plays 30+ minutes at pg spot
I think for them to have lasting success, they are going to have to upgrade their Center position. They don't need a taller player their (though, it would help), but just someone who can play that position better. TJD isn't a starting Center for a contending team yet. I also think these regular season minutes are crucial for Kuminga, who as someone who isn't fluid yet, the playoffs will eat him alive. Wiggs is great, DS is finally looking good, and I like the bench... Hot take here: If the Warriors trade Dray for just a quality big, the team would initially struggle, but given time, would be better for it... Anderson is a much more calculated player who won't turn the ball over. He actually has the best inside game out of all who plays 5, but from the 4 spot, he can run an offense. He's a better rebounder, has more size, and he won't make the same sexy plays Draymond makes, but this team doesn't always need to hit homeruns...
Jim strikes again! You made a lot of solid points, one of them being that we might see the ridiculous small ball lineups once again when these tiny guards return from injury. That is why a trade move is necessary for a stretch forward in order to reduce the number of guards on this roster and eventually force Steve Kerr into playing a bigger lineup on the floor at all times
I think we need to differentiate terms. Kerr used to use "Wing" Ball (1 Guard, 3-4 Versatile 2-Way Wings, maybe 1 mobile "Big"). Now he uses Small/Wee Ball (2 Guards under 6'5"). Wing Ball covers many holes, can smother a team. Small Ball is a turnstile with no backline
Look around the league. Many teams employ 2 guards shorter than 6'5... The team with the best record in the league has 2 guards with the average height of 6'2. Yall bent over backwards on something that's a small issue over issues that has actually cost this team games this year. The Warriors have lost 4 games this year because the players executed good plays, but couldn't make shots. They lost 4 games this year because they couldn't make freethrows, and the other teams did. They lost 3 games on heroball, poor shot and/or poor clock management by Star players. They lost 4 games when up by 17 or more points because their coach poorly managed a lead, kept in ineffective players while leaving effective players on the bench, poor use of timeouts and challenges, etc... Some of these coincide with each other. They were also blown out 3 times. Just like everyone else, I watch the games 1st. Then I look at the boxscores. The following day, I look at the best lineups in that particular game for rebs/points/efficiency/net rating, and then I do that for specific parts of the season. I haven't seen them lose a single game due to size, but I have seen them lose many times after making many bad decisions and being skillfully inept in specific positions and overall, being skillfully inferior to their opponent.
@@AndYouAre Cavs have 2 Elite/Young Smaller Guards with, 2 Nimble Bigs, that balances the lack of height from the perimeter. In general Warriors have had more success with Steph, 2-3 Switchable Skilled Wings + Dray & a Switchable "Big". I see your points, but also think they are making it harder for themselves being undersized (for no reason) at the 2-3. I'm not as worried as most about the 5 position. A lumbering Big who can get exploited at the perimeter is not the solution (to me)
@davidcastanheira4361 Ok. Are those players good primarily because they are tall or are those players good because they primarily have skills? There are 7 footers everywhere, but Mobley is really good. He's athletic, fast, can drive, pass, shoot, defend, switch, blitz properly, and is underrated as an overall player. If any of our bigs were his height, would they be just as good? I mean, could we put Loon and TJD in the lineup at the same time and expect good results? So it's skill, right? And Allen isn't just tall... He has amazing timing and touch around the rim. He obviously defends well and can't defend on the perimeter like Mobley, but he is better than any of our guys. He's not just tall. He's got skill... What the Warriors need are guys who have both size and skill. But if you can only have 1, then skill is the easy answer
Always put Lindy/Moody in that 3 guard lineup. Playing that lineup with Steph/Dennis/Hield/Podz makes us very small and has no defense. Lindy/Moody has length, defense and can knock down 3s.
If you realise, after missing podz and gp2, warriors are back at playing basketball. As much love I have for gp2 but it's time to reduce his minutes or let him go. Podz definitely have to go in my opinion.
I don't get it they won against the Grizzlies! They play super hard when Stephen Curry setting out, Soon he comes back in the game they act like they don't know how to play. They getting killed by the Kings and their team is down at the bottom of the barrel, And their starter player is not playing tonight Sounds crazy to me. They keep losing they are not about to make the playoffs, If they were gonna play bad they mightiest well stayed home. The Warriors fans should get their money back or just watch it on tv. Because the way they play will make you have a heart attack and anxiety in depression you get so mad when they miss and they know they play better than that super crazy.
Preach, JP. Playing KA more at the 4 and occasionally 5 and using TJD to set the tone, maintain leads, and close out close games will translate to a 5th chip...
@@JimParkGM But if the Dubs obtain a SG, CSK will be even more inclined to play his 3 and 4 guard lineups. They may not make the play-in with his proclivity to small ball...
I’ve been wondering why he hasn’t played Kyle Anderson! He’s a good vet who knows how to play. Now that a few players are out hopefully Moses finally gets the minutes he deserves.
Just to add on Jim's analysis. It looks like the Warriors coaching staff prepared a lot for the match today but so did the Grizzlies. Schroder tried to run some head tap plays for Kuminga and Wiggs on the first half but kept getting read/countered. They did their homework well. But the Warriors coaching staff prepared more plays for Schroder to run for a traditional lineup with an actual PF + C. The play called 55 is what they've ran several times with Schroder today which kinda confused the Grizzlies since they weren't prepared for it, this allowed Schroder to run drives/floaters and take 2 + defenders then allow open 3pt shooters to shoot.
55 is just a cute term for basic high screens off horns. Every team knows what it is, but it doesn't mean it's easy to defend. This is why I'm always advocating for more high screen actions for Curry because he would end teams. You have to ask why Kerr runs it for DS but refuses for Curry 🤔
@@JimParkGM I do find it strange why Kerr avoids doing this for Curry. The only times I can remember them doing this for Curry is this season's game vs Boston, the last playoff match game 4 vs Lakers then some late q4 close games but with Curry out of rhythm
It's because, for whatever reason, Steph isn't great at it AND, Steph doesn't like playing that way. Jim, show the numbers on how many points the team has scored when Steph initiates PNR from the top of the key. Their best action out of this set is when GP2 is the roller. 1.23 points per possession. Steph gets blitz on most of these actions. How has Steph done when blitzes? 19 turnovers per 100 possessions... Ok, not good. What is the teams offensive efficiency when Steph spams PNR? Net zero. In fact, their best actions has always been when they utilize Steph as the screener, in these actions, Dray, Wiggs, Kuminga, and Steph has produced more points per possessions.. I haven't seen the numbers with DS, but I bet he is better than Steph at that at this point in their careers. Steph no longer finishes well in the paint, he doesn't get as much separation on his midrange, and his handle isn't what it used to be. Steph seems to only do PNR if the opponents personnel is favorable. Otherwise, it's motion 1st, or Steph gets screens until he gets the defender he wants, then tries to create advantages off of 1 on 1 play.
Jimmy I agree with your take on the warriors with the exception of JK. He can and should play both the 3 and the 4. But if he plays the 4 it needs to be with a true 5. When Draymond has been out he excels at the 4. It was nice to not see micro ball. Unfortunately when Steph and Pods are in there, you’re probably gonna see more 3 guard line ups. The refs sucked yet again.
Who would you trade for? I like the high risk high reward players like Ingram or Zion, you can get them without giving JK. Although I'm scared bc Kerr already said that if the win a couple of lucky games this month they may not make any move
Man after seeing what refs were doing in the league these days, I know there something fishy. I remember when podz pointing on a spill got him a tech, when the boll boy for the pels got a tech for doing his job and so many techs being given for just celebrating.
Warriors need someone as tall and talented as triple J of the Grizzlies. Their roster is good but who will guard the likes of Jokic or Wemby when he becomes dominant in the near future. Congrats in this game.
No, Warriors need a coach that isn't stupid enough to go ultra small all the time and get surprised that they get steamrolled by bigs. Even if JJJ comes on the team, Kerr would keep them benched for his stupid small ball.
I’ve been saying all season that once the GSW’s play Quinten Post, it will unlock their Offense & defense to a whole new level! Why would they let James wiseman have so many opportunities at such a young age of 19, yet a seasoned 4 year 23 year old QP they shelf? They need to at least play QP 5-10mins just to see if he’s that unicorn who can compete with wimby.
To be fair, no one currently is having success guarding Jokic, and Wemby will eventually be a 1 off. Let's be more realistic since these 2 big men are or will be max players. We won't have an equivalent player at that position in this era, and the best way to guard max big men is to let them get theirs, but minimize the efficiency of everyone else. The Grizz is an interesting comparison since they do use their size well without having a ton of money spent at the 4/5 positions. Them and the Cavs are the only 2 teams that have crushed us on the glass with "skilled" size every time we have played them. We don't have the front line roster to compete in the interior, so the Warriors need to sell out on what they are against teams like this. Go small and use your speed to bait them into errors on both sides of the court. Some just want the Warriors to just go big, but the bigs they have don't create advantages with their size. The Warriors are a perimeter team that uses their shooting threat to create other opportunities. Would it help to have a guy taller than 6'9 who can play with their back against the basket and can make contested shots around the rim? Absolutely! But that guy isn't on the roster. Why? Because 85% of our salary cap is invested in guys who are SF or Guards who seem to play better from the perimeter than from within 10 feet of the basket.
Having seen many examples across (not limited to Warriors) the Association, I have concluded that NBA officiating false into two categories. 1.) Flagrant incompetence 2.) Working for the Bookies
@JimParkGM I hopethey can play like this consistently like how the others shot the ball and buddy, he'll prolly will have another bad 13 game shooting after this😂

I wish I could like ur video twice. The minute I saw them put in more size and Kyle Anderson 😂😂😂, I knew we could win. And yeah, they hate Dray oddeeee😂
how is it that they say nba viewership is declining yet they clearly doing one of the greatest crowd drawer dirty.. and refs are too soft they'll call a T at anything they think is about them.. smh
@willtan2787 DS's tech was stupid, though I didn't hear what he said. If Dray got a tech everytime he deserved 1, he would be kicked out of most games by halftime. Drays got the longest leash in NBA history... What if every player in the league screamed at the refs the way Dray does? Dray only gets techs after accumulation, so he's allowed to scream at the refs for when he think he got fouled, when he gets called for a foul, when something happens he doesn't like, or when he thinks an opponent got away with something. When he finally gets a tech, it's usually due to the refs being fed up with him. However, the refs do have a problem with how they call fouls when it concerns the Warriors. But Dray earned that tech...
Against the Kings today, after cutting an 18pt lead and cut it to 6, at 7min mark in 2nd qtr, Steve Kerr went back to 3 guard lineup, immediately Sabonis and Monk went super star mode reminding me of Kobe and Shaq duo..went down 25 points...turned off TV and went to do something else...lol
Kerr fell into this win by mistake. He would not change because of his ego and him being the leagues poster SJW coach. Slow-Mo was awesome as he always is and he does spread the floor when he is open. So sad that JK is injured, he was on a fantastic run and was getting into the groove. Fire Steve, that's the way forward
Slo Mo makes championship plays. I remember when the Lakers took a chance on Ron Artest, he wasn’t a great scorer but a great defender. And what do we remember about Ron Artest, he made big shots fine after time in championships settings. If only Steve Kerr recognize that about Slo Mo.
Jim is there any particular reason why the refs hate the warriors? There hasn't been a single game where the refs haven't screwed us with bullshit calls🤦🏻♂️
The refs have been against us since the 2016 Finals . That was the curse. Injuries and refs killed the 3-1 lead. Battered Warriors were up 3-1 til the refs let the Cavs play defense like nfl lineman on us with no calls but we couldn’t breathe on the Cavs. Steph ejected at the end of game 4 . Dre suspended game 5. Flipped the momentum against us. Cheating. Since Steph has rose in LeBron era they been against the Warriors. That is the only reason ppl got mad at KD joining- LeBron wouldn’t win.
I'm trying to stay positive and that was a nice win. Dub's didn't blow a lead, finally...and Memphis was down Morant as well. You have to win these game to make the playoffs. Now, without an improving Kuminga, I'm holding my breath. Is Draymond even out there. 2 rebounds and 3 assists? He did at least hit some threes.
Draymond was his usual self. A combination of extraordinary and disastrous. I personally prefer Slow-Mo on most possessions. With Draymond, it seems like it's hard to win with him, but it's harder to win without him...
It's almost like "playing the guys in their actual positions" was a solution that was always available and Steve is just too arrogant not to do that, instead run his small ball bullshit😭😂
agree!! the refs are clearly robbing the Warriors again this time... too bad for them refs the emotions did not affect the dubs' game!! NBA should do something about these EGOs pf the refs!!
Always enjoy your breakdowns! Not spoiling everyone on the win, but in the pregame press, Kerr said that we will “probably” stay put with our roster after talking with Mike D. I’m really furious on that comment because we can always improve our roster. We’ve been staying god damn put for the last 3 seasons. What’s your take on that Kerr’s comment? Btw, cool tshirt with homage to Bruce Lee!
I love how people figure out or know what my shirts are about 😂 Nothing new when it comes to Kerr talking to the media. He should never discuss trade stuff and just say "not my job". He has way too much say for someone who doesn't really know ball
Great breakdown and I agree with you 100% .Steve kerr going away from the Terry stotts offense is the main reason we started losing. Also kerr forcing this small ball offense is nonsensical. Kerr has to get fired now. We have to move on. Let Terry coach this team.
Pat Spenser can hoop i don’t know why ppl getting mad when he gets playing time, Kerr is just really terrible at selecting lineups unless he has clear cut talent that was pre established for him. Eg inheriting mark Jackson’s team.
That's literally what they've been doing to start every single game since DS joined the team. The problem is that Curry is NOT a SG, he is a PG. This move ultimately limits the full capacity of Curry even more than what Kerr already puts him through. They have to strike a better balance and ultimately, find a starting SG to put DS as a 6th man
Warriors are going after Vucevic, but he is a bad defender. What if they trade for Clint Capella. They can trade Podz, Buddy, GP2, and GUI for Clint or Podz, GP2, GUI, and Looney for Clint Capella. What do you all think?
Amazing analysis! I was watching the game last night and there were some tense moments in the 4th quarter where the warrior’s lead kept going back and forth from marginal leads. My main worry was Kerr closing this game badly but the moment I saw the 3 forward lineups in the last 5 mins I knew the warriors wouldn’t sell this one Also when u talked about the warriors conceding 17 points Are we not gonna talk about the half court shot in the last second l lol. Also I’m kinda upset they aren’t using looney
Yes, that was an insane shot, but even without it, they gave up 14 points in the final 3.5 minutes of the game after allowing just 12 in the first 8.5 minutes. 14 points in 3.5 minutes is pretty awful, and it's because Slo/JK is a non-viable combo. Yes, Loon should get back into rotation to play even 10 minutes, but if Slo is included, I can live w/ it for now.
That's the problem with Andrew he's too lacks, he turned up 2nd half after banes tackled him , he actually got mad and used for fuel he's normally just sleep walking thru the game..if we can unlock that wiggins constantly he will be a beast
I really don't like the Grizzlies. I don't know what it is about the culture down there but they all act like a bunch of wannabe tough guys. What makes it worse is the refs letting them get away with it because they're so focused on the Draymond. They don't see Draymond get shoved by Zach Edey. They don't see Jaren Jackson pushing Buddy Hield to the floor on the sideline. Or maybe they do but just don't care. But if ur gonna allow that then u should allow Draymond to say BOOM after hitting a 3 js

You make some very valid points, this position less basketball is ruining how the game is played.
Kerr and Warriors biggest culprit
Kerr has *not* learned his lesson from this win. Just watch Kerr’s post game comments. He will play Kyle Anderson at the four not because he learned that size in that position benefits them and that it allows the smaller guys to play more in their own position., but only because Kuminga got hurt and couldn’t play the four. So sadly, don’t expect long term changes. Kerrs postgame comments speak for themselves.
Kyle will have to make it undeniable while JK is out
That was a game !! They played with unity ! A few messy spots but that’s okay , everyone was in a zone … I like Spencer , he brings high energy , Dray was good last night , Wiggs!!! , I hope JK is okay , he’s playing so well ….
Dennis looked good last night , way more comfortable…
The Refs need to be indicted for their bullshit calls against the Warriors .. slo mo is such an interesting player ! He’s sneaky and efficient when he’s allowed to play longer than 5 minutes …. Let’s keep it going and climb out of the hole. Another game today hopefully they bring same intensity , Kerr keeps the line ups smart , not small …. Go Dubs !!!
I'm actually hopeful against the Kings now
You have to pray gp2 and podz get hurt for the season!
Good points Everything is true Steve is the Big problem for the warriors team
😵💫
@JimParkGM Great Job!!!!! Thank you for your analysis report........
🙏
To me the Warriors win 1 game and they celebrate to soon! They losing by 30 and Steve just got a tech. Steve needs to get fire and the whole Warriors team need to go back to G- league.
If Steve continues tonight's rotation when Steph gets back... Warriors are gonna be title contenders even without any major trade
True, but they really should consolidate the SG spot for a true starter
@JimParkGM I think if DS and Steph is at the floor at the same time, Steph should play as the 2.
@@g-yan8698they should trade buddy and have Dennis off the bench. No reason to start both
@@g-yan8698 i disagree..i feel steph should play more and more at the Pg spot...when he is playing sg he isn't as effective and we see him not get into his rhythm for scoring...steph is at his strongest when he has the ball he can eassily average 25 and 10 if he plays 30+ minutes at pg spot
Steve Kerr went big because he doesn’t have available BP or GP2. I hope Kerr learned something in this 2 winning games
We are all hoping
Jim strikes again! You made a lot of solid points, one of them being that we might see the ridiculous small ball lineups once again when these tiny guards return from injury. That is why a trade move is necessary for a stretch forward in order to reduce the number of guards on this roster and eventually force Steve Kerr into playing a bigger lineup on the floor at all times
Sad that they have to cater to Kerr with roster decisions, but that's the case. They do have too many guards anyway, so consolidation is needed
💯
@@AndYouArethe cavs also have Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen that are both 7 footers and we don’t have a single one
A lumbering Big who can get exploited at the perimeter is not the solution (to me)
@davidcastanheira4361
Ok.
Lindy is really coming around. He's actually more solid than Moody, who still has holes in his game. Either way, yes. No more 3G lineups
And Kerr should play Anderson more, he's so serviceable. 6'9, can make plays, can score some and play defense.
@MobPsychoooooo he's a playoff-level player. Not playing him is a crime
Its jst that Kerr has no choice but to play slowmo, there’s nothing left in his roster after Kuminga exit…
Awful guy, eh?
If you realise, after missing podz and gp2, warriors are back at playing basketball. As much love I have for gp2 but it's time to reduce his minutes or let him go. Podz definitely have to go in my opinion.
Podz needs to go, GPII is more of a 16-game player
Great breakdown, great win!
I found this one to be a lot more impressive than the last one
When Kerr has no other option to bench Steph and play regular he accidentally wins.
Lol if only he could regularly coach this well
Preach, JP. Playing KA more at the 4 and occasionally 5 and using TJD to set the tone, maintain leads, and close out close games will translate to a 5th chip...
Gotta keep Slo at the 4. They still need to trade for a starting SG, then DS can be the 6th man
@@JimParkGM But if the Dubs obtain a SG, CSK will be even more inclined to play his 3 and 4 guard lineups. They may not make the play-in with his proclivity to small ball...
@henrylee5922 that's why it's gotta be a SG with size like a Klay-type
I’ve been wondering why he hasn’t played Kyle Anderson! He’s a good vet who knows how to play. Now that a few players are out hopefully Moses finally gets the minutes he deserves.
Let's hope for the best 🙏
Keep up the great content. Thanks. Spot on.
🤝
The defensive intensity was so refreshing too. Actually looked like they cared and didn't give up this game.
It can only exist when a capable unit is regularly on the floor
Cause the height & wing span of the team has doubled when you run a bigger line up
I remember the playoff game Gobert missed and K Anderson played the best defense i’ve ever seen against the Nuggets.
lmao you need to go live when the game is on or post game haha. i was waiting to see this reaction after a W , that was a great game
I may do this at some point
Jim park is goated. Anyway, i really want to see more of kyle anderson
More Kyle at least while JK is out to showcase his value
0:01 🤣🤣that’s exactly how I felt this game I yelled “FINALLY KERR LETTING US PLAY FREELY!🥲” 😂😂
For one game anyway
@ you know what that’s my fault for speaking too soon ..another bad L🤦🏽♂️
Jimmy I agree with your take on the warriors with the exception of JK. He can and should play both the 3 and the 4. But if he plays the 4 it needs to be with a true 5. When Draymond has been out he excels at the 4. It was nice to not see micro ball. Unfortunately when Steph and Pods are in there, you’re probably gonna see more 3 guard line ups. The refs sucked yet again.
Meh. JK at 4 is usually more of a survive lineup than a thrive lineup
i like your video you make on the warriors
🤝
It feels like the way they play when Schroeder is on is way simpler but efficient
Yes... the key is to find that same balance with Curry
Who would you trade for? I like the high risk high reward players like Ingram or Zion, you can get them without giving JK. Although I'm scared bc Kerr already said that if the win a couple of lucky games this month they may not make any move
I don't think JK fits this team
@JimParkGM Would you go for Zion or BI or which other options do you prefer?
Man after seeing what refs were doing in the league these days, I know there something fishy. I remember when podz pointing on a spill got him a tech, when the boll boy for the pels got a tech for doing his job and so many techs being given for just celebrating.
Refs are def on one lately
Warriors need someone as tall and talented as triple J of the Grizzlies. Their roster is good but who will guard the likes of Jokic or Wemby when he becomes dominant in the near future. Congrats in this game.
No, Warriors need a coach that isn't stupid enough to go ultra small all the time and get surprised that they get steamrolled by bigs. Even if JJJ comes on the team, Kerr would keep them benched for his stupid small ball.
Warriors just beat that JJJ led team. They just have to play better lineups
@@fobinc😂
1.) Flagrant incompetence
2.) Working for the Bookies
And for Nike
Hold your horses😅 steph wasn't in the line-up that's why they played different style offence
True, but for once, I got to enjoy a Warriors game without constantly questioning the coach. What a relief it was.
@JimParkGM I hopethey can play like this consistently like how the others shot the ball and buddy, he'll prolly will have another bad 13 game shooting after this😂
Heck ya and they didn't play hot potato between Dray n Steph 2 man game like u said before. Nice to see no Pods either messing things up
Kerr always finds rotations that work, then forgets about them the very next game.
😂

It's nice to have another creator back on this roster

I love Jim Park mehn!
That intro was absolutely hilarious!

bro im still not convince kerr will stick to this bigger line up after podz and payton return.
That's the concern
I wish I could like ur video twice. The minute I saw them put in more size and Kyle Anderson 😂😂😂, I knew we could win. And yeah, they hate Dray oddeeee😂

Divine intervention to win. Kerr, wake up and use those bigs, please....
The results are telling
Good stuff as always. I wish you would elaborate a bit regarding the conversation that 'did not go very well.' What did they say?
Basically, not agreeing on all my key points stated in this vid 😂
You have great insight my guy 💯
🤝
I fully agree with your whole analysis and the Kerr situation. If he doesn't change, he has to go
Crazy thing is he could just change it up, unless he's there to make sure this team can never be maximized or something
how is it that they say nba viewership is declining yet they clearly doing one of the greatest crowd drawer dirty.. and refs are too soft they'll call a T at anything they think is about them.. smh
The Nike league stuff is a killer for this team led by Curry on top of Draymond being on some kind of hitlist for the refs
@willtan2787
DS's tech was stupid, though I didn't hear what he said.
But Dray earned that tech...
it’s too bad, Kerr will not learn. his mentality is that he’s just trying to match their size for one game
We'll see how it goes for the next week or so
Seems like when slomo is able to play & they play him they win no 🧢 but I do agree on the line up..
12-3 when he plays 15+ min
@JimParkGM That's absolutely a great winning record there
Great analysis
🤝
Dude, you should be a paid consultant for the Dubs.
❤
The words "credit to Steve Kerr" finally made it as a text graphic lol
😂
Whatever Kerr was taking he needs to keep taking. That one ref was corrupt
😂 yes the ref was awful
The Warriors were hitting their shots.
They were, but the way the shots were generated were also diff
Against the Kings today, after cutting an 18pt lead and cut it to 6, at 7min mark in 2nd qtr, Steve Kerr went back to 3 guard lineup, immediately Sabonis and Monk went super star mode reminding me of Kobe and Shaq duo..went down 25 points...turned off TV and went to do something else...lol
Kerr makes a winning coach's challenge unlike his big mistake not to call one in the Cleveland game which would have made a big difference
The rare Kerr game
Kerr fell into this win by mistake. He would not change because of his ego and him being the leagues poster SJW coach.
Slow-Mo was awesome as he always is and he does spread the floor when he is open. So sad that JK is injured, he was on a fantastic run and was getting into the groove. Fire Steve, that's the way forward
Kerr fixes up on the issue of size, I'll cool off on him. If he goes back to the same old BS, then back to square one
@@JimParkGM absolutely with you, if he fixes up then awesome. I'm skeptical though because he seems to revert to type far too often
@@josephbanks888 exactly. Iguodala will be remembered more for his championship run with the Warriors than being an all-star
Jim is there any particular reason why the refs hate the warriors? There hasn't been a single game where the refs haven't screwed us with bullshit calls🤦🏻♂️
Nike league vs UA star, plus Draymond is a target
The refs have been against us since the 2016 Finals . That was the curse. Injuries and refs killed the 3-1 lead. Battered Warriors were up 3-1 til the refs let the Cavs play defense like nfl lineman on us with no calls but we couldn’t breathe on the Cavs. Steph ejected at the end of game 4 . Dre suspended game 5. Flipped the momentum against us. Cheating. Since Steph has rose in LeBron era they been against the Warriors. That is the only reason ppl got mad at KD joining- LeBron wouldn’t win.
I AGREE...!!! TJD, SloMo ..!!
Bigs!
Jim: "I used to pray for times like this"
At least for one game
I'm trying to stay positive and that was a nice win. Dub's didn't blow a lead, finally...and Memphis was down Morant as well. You have to win these game to make the playoffs. Now, without an improving Kuminga, I'm holding my breath. Is Draymond even out there. 2 rebounds and 3 assists? He did at least hit some threes.
Numbers don't always tell the whole story. They needed Dray.
Draymond was his usual self. A combination of extraordinary and disastrous. I personally prefer Slow-Mo on most possessions. With Draymond, it seems like it's hard to win with him, but it's harder to win without him...
NBA refs are starting to act like overseers of slaves instead of refs❤❤❤
Sick stuff
Thank you Jim sounds like Kerr heard you!! Slo Mo won the game 2 buckets and a shot block in last 2 minutes took the momentum back!!!!
🙏
There’s a lot of guards on the injured list right now. I think it might be back to small ball unfortunately when podz and gp2 comes back.
Yeah, they need to trade Podz
dont forget moody's good performance.
That pump in the air 3 was nuta
It's almost like "playing the guys in their actual positions" was a solution that was always available and Steve is just too arrogant not to do that, instead run his small ball bullshit😭😂
The whole organization seems to have an issue with going normal size. Their minds are messed up
agree!! the refs are clearly robbing the Warriors again this time... too bad for them refs the emotions did not affect the dubs' game!! NBA should do something about these EGOs pf the refs!!
They need fundamental change
Always enjoy your breakdowns! Not spoiling everyone on the win, but in the pregame press, Kerr said that we will “probably” stay put with our roster after talking with Mike D. I’m really furious on that comment because we can always improve our roster. We’ve been staying god damn put for the last 3 seasons. What’s your take on that Kerr’s comment? Btw, cool tshirt with homage to Bruce Lee!
I love how people figure out or know what my shirts are about 😂
Nothing new when it comes to Kerr talking to the media. He should never discuss trade stuff and just say "not my job". He has way too much say for someone who doesn't really know ball
@ thank you! I hope Lacob is still hungry for more champs and push for a replacement with Mike B
Great breakdown and I agree with you 100% .Steve kerr going away from the Terry stotts offense is the main reason we started losing. Also kerr forcing this small ball offense is nonsensical. Kerr has to get fired now. We have to move on. Let Terry coach this team.
Let's see how long Slo-Mo sticks
Pat Spenser can hoop i don’t know why ppl getting mad when he gets playing time, Kerr is just really terrible at selecting lineups unless he has clear cut talent that was pre established for him. Eg inheriting mark Jackson’s team.
It's because Spencer is a two-way. Obvi Kerr did the right thing playing him given the need for a PG off the bench
I think they should put Steph more of as a Shooting Guard when DS is in the floor with him.
That's literally what they've been doing to start every single game since DS joined the team. The problem is that Curry is NOT a SG, he is a PG. This move ultimately limits the full capacity of Curry even more than what Kerr already puts him through. They have to strike a better balance and ultimately, find a starting SG to put DS as a 6th man
all good points. really don't want podz back soon cause kerr is gonna play him too much. That drey thing was a def a flagrant. All the Ts were bs tho
Time to trade Podz
Warriors are going after Vucevic, but he is a bad defender. What if they trade for Clint Capella. They can trade Podz, Buddy, GP2, and GUI for Clint or Podz, GP2, GUI, and Looney for Clint Capella. What do you all think?
Clint is another PnR C. I feel like he living off reputation these days than actual ability
The reason why I ask is bc I agree with you but do the front office see your videos? Because they should
🤝
Amazing analysis!
I was watching the game last night and there were some tense moments in the 4th quarter where the warrior’s lead kept going back and forth from marginal leads.
My main worry was Kerr closing this game badly but the moment I saw the 3 forward lineups in the last 5 mins I knew the warriors wouldn’t sell this one
Also when u talked about the warriors conceding 17 points
Are we not gonna talk about the half court shot in the last second l lol.
True, but his first job is to dominate his role as POA. Kerr's offense commands no one to be consistently aggressive
Kyle is also an underrated pickpocketer, I saw one for sure, but maybe he had two
He's just a guy who knows how to play. You can never have enough of those in rotation
Finally, a Winning Streak.
First one in over a month
I think These kind of officiating are the reason why NBA is so frustrated to watch,. It is not a game ball anymore, instead a Gumble
Really awful
I really don't like the Grizzlies. I don't know what it is about the culture down there but they all act like a bunch of wannabe tough guys. What makes it worse is the refs letting them get away with it because they're so focused on the Draymond. They don't see Draymond get shoved by Zach Edey. They don't see Jaren Jackson pushing Buddy Hield to the floor on the sideline. Or maybe they do but just don't care. But if ur gonna allow that then u should allow Draymond to say BOOM after hitting a 3 js
They're wack
Kuminga hurt - very unfortunate. He was just gaining consistency and playing time and output. Hoping that injuries settle, so that the team can continue to build on their consistent output.
Hopefully he will heal up soon. In the meantime, an opportunity for Kyle to show his true value
This was a griss team without ja morant and the 7 footer aldama and so wRriors at home should win this !still they played great and lucky thing hield had his blickey and Waters played like he supposedto play 20:45 20:45 20:45 20:45
Same goes for Griz facing a team without Curry
@JimParkGM I told you ha,ha !

One game at a time 😂
Sports betting has definitely influenced the refs
Def, but the way they do it to the Warriors is next to none
@@JimParkGM there is just no question the NBA is intent on snuffing out any momentum the warriors can get , they will not allow curry’s team any traction , the have decided 10 games alone this season . Protecting fraud James at any cost .
Too bad Kerr is not a good enough coach to see what works and stick with it. He’ll be running small very soon.
We shall see but for now, he doesn't have as many options
