i have been into the financial market since 2018. in first year l just lost my entire capital . without knowing anything i just traded everything from stocks to future to option . since then i am just following the market and learning i learnt volume profile from your book then learnt from your videos also . i was introduced to volume profile by pivot boss . i also learned price action but i cant put trade .
Doesn't it also make sense to put our SL behind a LVN, in the beginning of the VA of the next HVN when we have the chance to do it? I mean, the LVN should reject price acting as a defensive trench before our SL, and once the price crossed that trench and starts to enter the VA of the next HVN it's very probable that price will stay there or get rejected in the V-POC. At least that's how I've thought it could be done. What's your opinion about that? Does it makes sense or am I over complicating things? Love your videos, thank you!
Read your books Dale. Still struggling a bit but I am at about 52% win rate, which is something :) I'm struggling the most with strong reversal setups and indeed SL seem to get triggered often even though the idea is right.
because of liquidity and stoplosses at swing points. Market love to go to lq zones to kick retail out. The more unkicked swing highs or lows stacked closely one right under other, the more probable the market gonna kick them all out at once.
also if that reversal is made by poor high or poor low, or there is some unfinished business on orderflow, thats where market likes to go and finish the job
