Unicorn Hole Review Collab with Punk Rock MBA and Anthony Fantano when? 🤔😏 Thanks again for including my short release even if it counted more as a single 🙏😁 seeing ya vibing to my shit made my day, keep up the Nintendocore grind whilst avoiding Cease and Desist claims 😏👌 Nintendocore, Cybergrind, Forever 🙌🏻🍉
Well Mr MBA thinks he's too cool for Nintendocore. Hmph! Fantano tho, where you at? And yeah, for anyone who happens to read this- BandCamp glitched out on me and showed ThyHarvesting's single as having two tracks (there is a bonus download track that isn't supposed to display on the site, but it did). When I added the release to this list I thought it was two tracks. But first of all, even as a single it's still over five minutes of new music, so there's that. And second of all, how appropriate for a glitchy track to glitch its way onto the list? Eh? But yeah, let's try to keep Reggie off our scents! :0
@@Uhole True point, N-Core be too cool to need Finn le Boomer's TikTok trendhopping stamp of approval 👏😏 Perhaps it was fate that glitched my glitchy release into your list 😉 a shame it didn't glitch back in time to be included in the Glitch comp a few years ago 🤔 but hey if it can be included in the cool and swoll UHole's YT channel then I'm happy 🙏😁...just gotta avoid all em Nintendo Copystrikes boi 😅👌
Yoo, thanks for checking it out and for saying that! That EP turns two-years-old in four days actually. Keep an eye on my socials if you'd like, I'm doing something special for it on that day! :0
Love you and appreciate the kind words, and appreciate you making this video for the community as a whole. Videos like this are a great resource for people who want to get into the current scene and need to know where to start and it’s really neat seeing so many amazing artists and homies covered as well 🖤🖤🖤 tl;dr: LOVE YOU UNICORN HOLE 🖤
There was just so much rad music last year, and I already try to leave a little blurb on Bandcamp for everything I buy, so I thought I may as well put all those thoughts in one place. With you and ZS getting Fantano nods, and BMC revitalizing the scene with awesome releases, I wanted to do my part to shine a spotlight as well. Thanks for watching, and for working so hard in general! tl;dr LOVE YOU BLING EQUATION 💜
Dude, thank you so much. I've heard your stuff before but could never get around to purchasing it so it was hard to listen much and i would find it VERY hard to find decent bands/artists in Nintendocore so this list has helped me find a few artists i am falling in love with at first listen lmao. Chidori and Meet Me In Lavender Town have to be my absolute top favorites out of what i've checked out here. Also if you haven't listened to Meet Me In Lavender Town's cover of Small, Bent, And Ugly by Crucial Dudes that he put out like a week or 2 ago PLEASE DO. It's a pop punk band that came and went in like 2 or 3 years sadly so got not nearly enough recognition in the scene but they're a top favorite of mine and his cover does it some great justice. I couldn't believe i saw that when i looked at his bandcamp lmao.
Thanks so much for watching this (long ass) video and leaving some feedback! I'm super stoked that you got into some of the bands I mentioned! I have heard that cover, and it's fantastic. MMILT is really an artist to watch in the scene I think. As for purchasing my music, it's available for free on Bandcamp and always has been! When you input your price, you can just put $0 and nab it for free. I also have a lot of my music here on this YT channel, and on every streaming service as well. The only thing I charge for is physical merch since I have to pay for it, ha.
@@Uhole Shit, i must have missed it was pay what you want. I will at the very least go download a bunch of your music then! But yeah for such a niche genre this video helped me find a lot of stuff i know i havent ever seen, even if you did like one of these a year i know i would watch them.
@@THE_BASED_GOD There was a very small window where BandCamp automatically set my albums to like $7 each because of something-another, and I had to go through and manually change every album and song back to free. So maybe you just happened to check my page during those days before I noticed. :0 And big thanks, again, for saying you'd continue to watch! I do plan on doing one of these videos every year. I think I'm gonna make one for 2020 as well, so that I'll have every year starting from there. And thanks for the sub! :3
💚💚💚 Holy shit I did it? Humbled and honored at my inclusion. Nothing but love for you and everybody up in here. Missed a few of the records you mentioned and am excited to hear. I gotta say tho if you haven't checked out the Corvid Canine album that dropped, fix that!
You did do it! Thanks for putting out rad music! And ah, of course. I probably would have called the Corvid Canine album "not quite nintendocore" but still shoulda mentioned it. I did buy it, bop it, and post a little writeup on BandCamp though! (as well as every album mentioned in the video)
Some of my placements prolly don't align with a lot of people, but if I do more content like this you can kinda learn what my personal tastes are and know where the baseline is. That make any sense? Eh. Thanks for watching, and for the feedback! I'm a grandpa of grandpas more like. : /
Matrix Redux is my personal favorite of 2021, it sounds exactly like things I used to listen to when I just learned about Nintendocore. I am also happy to see my fellow Anti-PizzaBoy in this list. He's definitely deserves a place in the list. Also thanks for noting several releases I would've missed, def gon check em
Matrix Redux is awesome for sure. I think I tend to gravitate towards releases with vocals, as a vocalist myself, so there's a little bias there. Anti-PizzaBoy is improving so fast, I can't wait to hear more from him! Thanks for watching!
By the way, MAD props to you for talking up all these bands on Bandcamp. I went to some of their pages and saw you on every one supporting your scene. You’re a class act!
Golly, thanks for that! I try to always write up a little something on any release I buy. Since I already had so many typed up, this video was fairly quick to script, ha.
Don't tempt me.. I would love to, I just gotta find an editor. Ugh, why can't some rich unknown relative die and leave me a fortune so I can do this full-time?
Had to mention the album! It's not as video-gamey as the stuff on the list, but it's definitely something I enjoyed and that people who dig Uhole would enjoy. And yessir! All three DK Lands, and there are actually eleven other Donkey Kong games in the frame, but you can't really read the labels, ha. That oversized cart is DKC, and that VHS next to it is a trailer for DKC.
while he hasn't released a full album, but I'm really excited for what Nekonomicon will be doing since the singles released so far just sound so god dahm good, experimenting with different subgenres of metal combined with the chiptune

Wow. That a nice vid.
I realized how much of a great ncore shit i missed this year!

really epic. Thanks for adding me in the list!!!
Thanks for releasing rad music!
