I don't understand how some reviewers think this is superior to the EA1000. One guy even said this makes the EA1000 obsolete. I know people hear things differently, but the EA1000 is clearly at a higher level. Now if you take price into account, or your personal listening preferences, then I can understand someone preferring this one, but it's not better.
Is that one guy HBB? I could see price to performance being better due to diminishing returns, but you’re going to get a better more resolving experience with the ea1000. Also a larger soundstage with the 1000 (probably due to the pr and vents)
notice that this is a subjective hobby. and there is a noticeable tuning difference between ea1000 and ea500lm. and whenever there is a tuning difference, it might just trump any differences in technicalities in terms of the preference
@@realaudioreviews damn i own one and was thinking of upgrading to the ea500lm? any top recommendation around this price range that's worth switching from the wan'er?
How theEA500LMs fare in comparison to the Dunu Falcon Ultra Ultra(getting them for $192). My preferred genres are Bollywood hits from the 90s and 2000s, Indian Pop, EDM (especially trap), and genres like Hip-hop and R&B. And budget is $200
Get simgot 500 lm … even me i am listening with it… it’s crazy technical easily 200$ price point … just use copper cable and tips i used kz black tips…. Resolution is crazy … I can’t believe what i hear on it … compared to s12 i find resolution is much better on LM so just think s12 resolution… just get LM thank me later…
I listen to all those genres you mentioned. 90s stuff is usually analog sounding. It will sound too warm on the LM. Personally I’d grab the Fermat. If you can spend more the Helios and supernova are my favorites.
@@realaudioreviewsconsidering the Fermats, it seems opting for them might result in a lack of bass for EDM and Hip-hop. Given that 90s songs form only a small part of my extensive preferred genres, I'm contemplating the Dunu Falcon Ultra as an alternative. Could you provide insights on how they compare to the Ea500LM?
Falcon ultra is better than the lm and even the ea1000 for rap, edm, rock and metal. It trades blows with the ea1000, but they are very similar. I get my lm tomorrow, so if I remember I’ll compare the 2. I’d be seriously impressed if it beats both the ea1000 and dunu. Also thinking of getting the tanchjim origin.
calling this neutral warm is probably misleading, because there is plenty of upper mids and treble to balance the mid-bass out; it overall sounds neutral bright or neutral slight v-shape.
It’s not really a V-shape. The sub bass isn’t too prominent and treble is rolled off. There is a peak around 8k that causes some harshness. It might graph with plenty of uppermids but it doesn’t sound like that, probably due to masking.
@@haomingli6175no it’s not, the ea500lm has a sharp treble peak. Not all iems have it. You have to listen to. Everyone has different listening abilities also…
@@realaudioreviews the 8k peak is comparable to other sets. maybe your ear canal doesn't play well with this set, and the resonance peak is amplified. on the graph, you don't see any 8k peak that is more pronounced than the average of other sets. or maybe you are talking about the peak that is beyond 10k.
Thank you for your hard work! How would this compare with the EM6L? I do not mind warmth in my tunning and I like my bass with body, but clear mids and extended highs.
With Copper cable and kz eartips simgot 500 LM is crazy… OMG i had s 12 and this is above s 12 … resolution is crazy …. But the tips and cable it comes with not good … all round music.. I listen bollywood hiphop, pop… i am enjoying alot… now i done …. I don’t need to buy any earphone ….
Did you flip the kz tips? I normally don’t use kz starline tips, but I have a pile of them because I wanted to make a bunch of flip tips, but than I just got dunu s s tips which is the same as flips but better. I’d assume final e or spinfit w1 would be a better choice than starline.
Thanks for taking in the time for the review I appreciate it
Any time!

No not significant

@@amit1980I haven’t heard the dunu. Based off what I’ve seen it should be a good option.

I like the linsoul euphrosyne cable.

Could get that simgot l7 cable if you want to double the price lol. Otherwise something from xinhs, nicehck or tripowin.
