I have had these about 2 weeks and they are very nice sounding to my ears. I recently got a couple of the Simgot tuning kits and am able to get my EA500s sound ing very close to these. Spot on review, again! Thanks. I think the EA1000s are next....
Both the EA500 and LM I am using a zonie cable with Spinfits 100's. I have cable swapped the Zonie cables and luckly these two sound the same. I tried both on Gen1 R3 Pro Sabre, a Phinstec S7 and a Shanling H7. I have a few more daps but yet to try both of them. Using 2.5 balanced connection. I have both ea500 and lm. Both can be peaky and silibant depending on the nozzle. I tried swapping all the tuning nozzles that came with the ea500 and lm tuning. Hard to really A/B since you need the same tuning nozzle. But I will say from what I heard, both are very similar, but the soundstage of lm is slightly recessed, showing off it's resolution. I will say Tuning nozzles make a huge difference. On my Ea500, I switched from red to black recently as the black is less silibant and peaky. The LM red sliver nozzle is similar to the ea500 black nozzle but has a more recessed soundstage highlighting its depth and resolution. If you like a close Soundstage stick to the ea500
Both were available. I chose the regular EA500. The LM seemed to me with some kind of clamped sound. Hiby-R6, cable ivipQ, various tips, music are from synthpop to melo death\black metal.
Sir, I watched both of your reviews of 500lm and NiceHCK F1 pro. Which IEM do you recommend? Since they are almost the same price bracket , which is more enjoyable to listen to that musical, clarity, and resolving iem? Thanks!
Great review. I never had the EA 500, so I'm not able to judge them against that but your review is a to my ears they are bright and a bit too much treble for me. Trying them again today at work before making the final decision on returning them.
how does this set compares to kiwi melody ? specaility the techniclates and tuning? which you do you prefer and how much do you reckon is the difference?
I too listen to lots of electronic music so I am glad I watched this video thanks very much New to this hobby and passion What sound wave is your preference for electronic music i keep hearing about Harman - U and Vs and linear - I want some iems £200-£500 for portable with Apple Music on iPhone iOS matched with a DAC amp any recommendations would be appreciated

@@VortexReviews1I love the sound and musicality of EW200, but a little more bass would be just perfect. Do you think is it worth upgrading EA200 with EA500LM if I want more bass?
@@VortexReviews1 Well, it doesn't matter: Simgot or anything else. I was always the V-Shape guy, using EQs to correct sound but now I'm not. After I bought EW200 and after some time burn-in-in-my-ears I just very much liked that sound signature, and moreover the details, decent soundstage etc. in music and completely stopped using equalizers. I mostly listen to the rock/hard rock/progressive rock bands of the 60s-70s-80s, some jazz, but also a lot of 80s. EW200 is almost perfect for me, but lacks a little of bass. So I'm looking for something better than EW200 from whatever brand and the price range of $50-$200. I believe that EA500LM could be the one to try, but maybe you have some other recommendations? Thank you!
I have the moondrop aria2 and em6l, and I always prefer listening to the Arias over the em6l. Honestly in my ears em6l is the superior iem but I can't listen to them past 30mins without getting ear fatigue. This would be likely the case if i get the LM which has more treble energy. Meanwhile the arias, I can listen to them all day. A really nice smooth sounding iem and more musical than my em6l. So it's becoming my daily driver while em6l is my gaming headset.
I will say the simgots with the sillabance and peakness would have never been acceptable in past iems, but since the s12 came out it seems to be the thing that sillibance is acceptable. I have both the ea500 and lm, so I would say some tracks I have to accept the sillibance and move on...As a matter of fact I never heard of sillabance of my nearly 20 chifi iems until I tried the s12. Are the simgots a good set. If you cannot accept sillibant then they are trash. If you are willing to put up with the silliabance then they are good. In reality the idea you have to put up with sillibance really says it all about this trend in the market of saturation and having to push the boundaries of audio experience.

could you share the tuning kits?

Great review vortex! The box looks really nice. I reviewed the ea1000 is nearly favourite iem.
Love what simgot has been doing.
Thanks and indeed! Glad you like the EA1000 but I think they need to calm the lower treble region as they are all on the shouty side.
Great review. 👍👍
The OG EA500 is already plenty bright for me. I'll wait for Simgot's next release.
Thanks very much and they announced a few models but no idea when they will come out.
Nice work bro ;-)
I did look at the 500LM yesterday as well, as it sounded like it could be my type of tuning.
And there you are with a review^^
Danke bruder :D Thanks for watching!

Gotcha.
Amazing review thank you! What would you recommend for more bassy and electronic music in this price range?
Thank you very much and maybe the Tinhifi T5S or Kefine Delci.
@@VortexReviews1 thank you this is a huge help!
@@farkasadam7290 Happy to help.

I prefer the F1 Pro. It has more clarity and is more resolving but not by much. DD vs Planar basically.

how does this set compares to kiwi melody ? specaility the techniclates and tuning? which you do you prefer and how much do you reckon is the difference?
Melody is bassier but it's faster. EA500LM sounds more natural and I would say the etch goes to the planar but not by much.
@@VortexReviews1 cheers mate
@@hassanalrubai7378 No worries 👍
Try wide bore tips like azla crystal or feaulle h570. And gold nozzle.
How is simgot ea500LM vs truthear hexa in technical performance?
Hexa might beat it but only by a very small amount. Mainly tuning differences between them.
@@VortexReviews1 Thank you very much.
@@wellykuo4590 No problem
Any fun sounding iem without harsh treble at same price point?
Kefine Delci or Tin Hifi T5s

Yes sorry wired mainly as then can get better quality
If Bluetooth I could use PX7 for wireless
@@davidnesbitt8673 Mangird Top is a set you buy then leave the hobby.
Thanks just watched your video on mangrid a great review
If spending £250 what would you pick please
I still prefer em6l over the other simgots, but I like the lm as well.
Fair enough 👍
Are you able to add a microphone to these for zoom calls?
Sure thing and you just need a cable with an inline mic.
how does it compare with the simgot ew200? how big could the improvement be?
Better DD and tuning differences on the LM.

I understand and I hope in future models they calm that and the lower treble boost.
How does it compare with the em6L, which is better?
They are just different. Not sure one is better than the other but it's been a while since I tried the EM6L
@@VortexReviews1 micro detail wise? Which one sounds better
@@djthamlas_tbs Maybe the EM6L
@@VortexReviews1 One more question, is it better than the Truthear Hexa?
@@djthamlas_tbs Different tuning. Hexa sounds thinner and a more neutral tuning.
how does this compare with the simgot em6l?
EM6L are a little smoother in the tuning and find them a little more resolving because of the BA's.
Arghhhh i dont have any money but this makes me wanna buy this lol. Heard alot og great things from this iem
lol
Idk why but the box looks like something Campfire Audio would do.
I see what you mean.
is this an upgrade or sidegrade to the Tangzu fudu?
Possibly a sidegrade?
