I prefer the sounding of pen, mostly on top of the glass, but if you choose pencil, go sideway, it sounded better. Also, pencil give a little bit of metalic sound that i find a little bit annoying.

I prefer a pen.
I wonder if the eraser head would hit hard enough to make a strong sound... it would remove the clangy part of the tone. Anyway, wood on the bell, sounded better than plastic, and definitely not on the rim. Great to se you're still alive. feels like forever since we last engaged!

Vince! Yep, I ended up trying erasers and they made a nice, mellow sound. I used them for the intro, then the pencils sideways for a little solo. Video coming soon!

I think pencils sideways, especially if you can make use of Eraser vs Metal vs Wood strikes.
