8:16 this is false. it is not random which special attack happens first. If muspah is in range form when you enter the room or spawns, the first special attack will always be shadow orb, if it starts with melee or gray form then the first special attack will be homing spikes. Nice video btw
Pro tip if you primarily fight with ranged: if muspah spawns in melee form, just leave the arena and re-enter until it spawns in ranged form. I wrote this tip on the wiki too.
I know the stepback method is easy and better, but if you can't do it like me you can also kite the boss in by running in a diamond shape; got my icon at 25kc and I was out of there. 2kc a trip but its a cool boss I will probably come back and do it properly but just wanted to add some insight
Is it possible to one-tick protect-from-range and smite like you can when alternating between two protection prayers? I saw this in Gnomonkey's guide on inferno for the blobs.
Could someone use Scorching Bow with Dragon arrows instead and then switch to Dragon Crossbow with Sapphire Bolts? or would it make more sense to just use Ruby Bolts with Dragon Crossbow or even Dragon Hunter Crossbow if they can afford and then just switch bolts only?
@@Simpuhl the bofa works well because of its insane accuracy buff with the crystal set. During the melee phase you’ll struggle to do virtually any damage without a switch at which point your better going for a range mage switch setup :)

is there a reason the radius markers show up at the farming guild bank? they are super helpful for muspah but are very annoying seeing at farming guild
@@TheSpazDevil I've tried copying the whole string, individual strings, both from the description and notepad. No spaces added. Says the radius markers are malformed.

Of course the boss is easy with a bofa and crystal, it has an insane accuracy bonus. For players that haven’t done SOTE or can’t afford 130mil weapons, this guide isn’t useful.

The reason this guide is range only etc is to show the mechanics and how to avoid the damage. Once you know that you can do this however you want. This may be a hard truth but 140m for a bofa crystal setup is not much..
Go do gauntlet until you have crystal. Solves your problem. Honestly, I think bowfa guides are a good middle ground myself. Anytime I look up guides I usually click on the bowfa one. Now, if he was using torva and a Scythe, I might agree with you.
If you don't have full crystal and a bowfa today, it might seem very unattainable. But training your skills profitably, and focusing on money making will get you the gear you want over time. The wiki has tons of money making methods you can use to build your account and get the gear you need. OSRS is a game of long term goals
Terrible take. There are tons of money making methods in this game, especially now more than ever. By the time you have the skills to do this quest, you should have profitable methods and skills. You can't play the game forever with your 5m worth of gear. Eventually, you're going to have to stop being lazy and push to work towards making a stable income. Failing that, swipe your mom's cc and buy bonds.

Hmm I’m considering this to afford bowfa, but seems like I need a bowfa to do it.
The mage attack is weird. One kill I changed back to protect ranged as it was flying and I got hit bad. This is in reference to 7:35
