@@emmanuelenyinwa1443 you’re a pussy. Football was better when defenders could actually tackle and physical contact was real. It’s all soft nowadays. This was passion. Yeah, also anger, but mostly passion. The game has gone soft because pussies like you want to make the game safer. It’s much less exciting now. The EPL is lightening up on the contact which is why it’s easily the best league in the world.

    • @AkBirdman17
      @AkBirdman17 3 года назад +63

@@TheDavidbeckham7 Its pretty clear why. Ramos wouldn't make most of these tackles. But the ones he did, the studs would be showing. Also, Keane isn't exactly the one we want to look to for sportsmanship... being a great player, but being known for sportsmanship? Fuck no. In reality, more people probably hated Keane for his playing days than Ramos, lmao. Doesn't mean we should watch either of their highlights and be stoked they're trying to hurt people. Neither are a good example, and we should leave it at that. Keane wouldn't make it these days because he would result in way too many red cards, which, to be fair, is only good for the game. He took advantage of the tackling rules at the time, as did many others, and were often to go over the ball. These fuckers risked peoples careers on purpose. And they knew what they were doing.

Remember just because you saw nasty tackles
You may have a assumption that he was just aggressive and no skill
    Completely wrong
He had a bit of temper but he had skills too
He was a really great box to box midfielder and incredible stamina ,could run all over the field and his passing is brillaint too
And ofc he would win at any cost
    Would do anything to win
As SAF said after Keanes "Finest hour"
"It was the most emphatic display of selflessness I have seen on a football field. Pounding over every blade of grass, competing as if he would rather die of exhaustion than lose, he inspired all around him. I felt it was an honour to be associated with such a player."

      Second of all
He didn't end Alf Inge Haalands career
Haalands career was ended by a knee problem in the other leg
And not the leg in which Keane injured him
And on top of that even after the foul
      He ended the game playing
He even played for a year more

@@jamiegrimes6681 went for the ball my ass, did u even see how that guy lunged into Keane's feet? That's a fucking abysmal tackle and there is no excuse for that. I don't agree with Keane doing that, it was indeed terrible but since he did it, maybe that player will learn a bit from that and next time he will actually think before sliding in like that. Also, you can't possibly think that Keane could have killed him with that, he actually stepped on his arm more than his chest so there was nothing really life threatening there

You know the truth of it Roy Keane. You saw like we all did, the tackle that wasn't a tackle, between Bryan Robson and Vinnie Jones. They knew they could do serious damage to each other. That's why, out of total respect for each other, they pulled out of the tackle, studs deliberately missing, and just juddered each other.
They didn't respect you like that, that's why they didn't bother with you.

    • @markgallagher8247

just completely dismiss what Haaland did to Keane the year before he made that tackle, good man. Also, players like vinnie jones couldn't compete with Keane, he was miles better than the both of them, more than just a hard man unlike those two you mentioned, Keane was an actual great player.
