Earlier this week I got to meet Lady Bunny and see her live show, which was a part of her UK tour. Bunny isn't what you think she is gays... 1) She is about 6ft 2, plus whatever wig, which usually makes her around 8ft tall. 2) Her voice is deeper in person. 3) Don't get into an insult match with her, you will never win, she is so quick that she knew my IQ was zero before she marked my paper! Bunny is a legend of drag, please, go and watch her shows, she is honestly amazing!
WOW, I always imagined her has shortish. I'm very short (5'6 if I'm lucky) and imagined her maybe a couple inches taller than me (without the heels and wig). I knew the Bunny Voice wouldn't be how the man behind the bunny naturally spoke. I love Bunny too much to insult her, but I'd LIVE if you insulted me. When my friends asked what I wanted for my birthday, I literally tell them I wanna be roasted.read to filth by Lady Bunny and/or Bianca Del Rio and/or Willam and/or Jackie Beat
There are lot of queens that should be invited to sit on that panel as guest judges. Sadly though, they think yesterday's Disney stars trying to shrug off their goody-two-shoes image are more appropriate judges, even if they've never been to a drag show in their life. There are so many legendary queens - many that came up alongside RuPaul herself - that could actually offer some good, constructive criticism to the contestants while also teaching everyone a little bit of drag history.
Bunny is literally the only person I've ever seen that can get a roomful of people laughing hysterically at pedophilia jokes that would make hardened truckers or Hells Angels go white with shock. More than anyone, her jokes require a good five seconds for everyone to look around and make sure they're not the only ones about to explode in a fit of screaming laughter. There is not another self-respecting drag queen in the world willing to go quite as far into self-humiliation as she does for a laugh. An absolute legend. An absolute pig.
