At the end after the huge climax, the gang is having a picnic with Reyna. She was telling the group, “after I found Jason’s note, tracking you down was easy.” Then Percy tells her, “Reyna, your being modest. You flew half way across the world by yourself to answer Annabeth’s plea, knowing it is our only chance to make peace. That’s pretty freakin heroic.” Rena just shrugs and says, “says the demigod who fell into tarterous and found his way back.” then Annabeth says, “he had help.” To which Reyna replies, “oh, obviously, without you, I don’t think Percy can find his way out of a paper bag.” To which Annabeth responds, “true.” And everyone in the group starts laughing. This probably one of my favorite chill scenes in the entire series, especially considering how intense the climax was. A lot of people are pointing out this reference, so I just thought I’ll write down the scene. By the way, the dialogue is not word for word. I wrote it from memory. I think it’s pretty close though.

Pick a Side has reeeaaally grown on me, I LOVE IT! The instrumentals, the vocals of the cast, the meaning behind the lyrics. IT'S SO GOOD! It makes me so happy every time I listen to it, like these guys (everyone involved) put so much passion and hard work into this musical, for this fandom. It didn't stand out the first time I heard it, but once I paid more attention to it individually, I fell in love. I really wish they kept this in the musical, if not for James Hayden Rodriguez's amazing voice :) (and for how much Sarah really fits what Clarisse would sound like!)
Everyone else is talking about the war between the gods in this song- but Luke doesn't want them to pick sides in that war because he wants them on his side in the bigger war, between Kronos and the gods. He doesn't want to fight against them. He didn't anticipate campers on opposite sides in the godly war and he REALLY doesn't want that. (He didn't really think of himself as betraying all the demigods- just Percy, pretty much, and he was torn up about that. He wanted the campers to be on Kronos' side, so the new world after the gods would belong to them.) At least, that's how I interpret it. And it's really friggin sad. Luke was basically the big brother to all the demigods at Camp Half-Blood ;-; He genuinely thought that siding with Kronos would be better for them

Short answer: No. Long answer: These songs aren’t really new. They are all songs that were written for the show at some point over the past couple years, but ended up getting cut. This is just the first recording we’ve had of any of these songs.
songs, such as this one and Try, were intended for the musical and this was intended as the opener of act 2 being sung after the Iris message radio conversation with Percy. at this point, Poseidon and Zeus were beginning to wage war and the campers were forced to choose sides between Zeus and Poseidon's armies. we don't know what the teams would have been, but most likely gods such as Hephaestus and Hermes would've been Team Zeus and gods such as Dionysus and Ares would have been team poseidon (This is just speculation, this not any more canon than any other pairings) and the peacemaker gods such Demeter and Athena wouldn't have fought, instead opting to quell the fight before it destroyed New York and Half of the US. the children at camp would have been coerced to join their mothers and fathers in the cause (Would they have fought) and the whole song is basically Clarrise rallying allies to fight for her father's army. Luke, Son of Hermes tried to dissuade Clarrise from the fight, despite knowing full well that he caused the conflict to begin with. This song was good, but potentially cut because Rokicki wanted Act 2 to mainly centre around the quest for Zeus's masterbolt recovery and not the looming war.

Pick a Side has reeeaaally grown on me, I LOVE IT! The instrumentals, the vocals of the cast, the meaning behind the lyrics. IT'S SO GOOD! It makes me so happy every time I listen to it, like these guys (everyone involved) put so much passion and hard work into this musical, for this fandom. It didn't stand out the first time I heard it, but once I paid more attention to it individually, I fell in love. I really wish they kept this in the musical, if not for James Hayden Rodriguez's amazing voice :) (and for how much Sarah really fits what Clarisse would sound like!)
Everyone else is talking about the war between the gods in this song- but Luke doesn't want them to pick sides in that war because he wants them on his side in the bigger war, between Kronos and the gods. He doesn't want to fight against them. He didn't anticipate campers on opposite sides in the godly war and he REALLY doesn't want that. (He didn't really think of himself as betraying all the demigods- just Percy, pretty much, and he was torn up about that. He wanted the campers to be on Kronos' side, so the new world after the gods would belong to them.) At least, that's how I interpret it. And it's really friggin sad. Luke was basically the big brother to all the demigods at Camp Half-Blood ;-; He genuinely thought that siding with Kronos would be better for them

Short answer: No.
Long answer: These songs aren’t really new. They are all songs that were written for the show at some point over the past couple years, but ended up getting cut. This is just the first recording we’ve had of any of these songs.
songs, such as this one and Try, were intended for the musical and this was intended as the opener of act 2 being sung after the Iris message radio conversation with Percy. at this point, Poseidon and Zeus were beginning to wage war and the campers were forced to choose sides between Zeus and Poseidon's armies. we don't know what the teams would have been, but most likely gods such as Hephaestus and Hermes would've been Team Zeus and gods such as Dionysus and Ares would have been team poseidon (This is just speculation, this not any more canon than any other pairings) and the peacemaker gods such Demeter and Athena wouldn't have fought, instead opting to quell the fight before it destroyed New York and Half of the US. the children at camp would have been coerced to join their mothers and fathers in the cause (Would they have fought) and the whole song is basically Clarrise rallying allies to fight for her father's army. Luke, Son of Hermes tried to dissuade Clarrise from the fight, despite knowing full well that he caused the conflict to begin with. This song was good, but potentially cut because Rokicki wanted Act 2 to mainly centre around the quest for Zeus's masterbolt recovery and not the looming war.

I haven't taken two years of asl but I've been trying to self teach myself for about 5 months now. my mom on the other hand I think took a few years of asl so I already knew some signs. on the sign you said looks like "sit" he taps his hand twice which changes the sign from "sit" to "chair".
