👋🏻Creek Stain. That was neato bro! What kind of critter skull was that? I find mostly jaws in the creeks I walk. Those crystals really made it pop. Well Done!
Hey bro 👋! I am not sure what kind of critter it was besides a dead one haha. I dont know my animal skulls very well. Hopefully someone will know. Yeah I have found a few jaws here and there but not many. It used to be really light and now it's HEAVY. Thank you sir! It was really fun to do!
Pretty cool. I've done the crystal candy sticks with my grandkids and it was fun. How delicate are the borax crystals? Great video brother. Many blessings
Candy would be cool! The borax crystal are sticking good! I can see though if over handled or maybe age may be a factor. It's only been about 30 hours so time will tell. I would recommend a high gloss clearcoat aerosal to help lock everything down. It was kind of a trial piece so it may blow apart later on when I dust my dresser lol. I am glad you enjoyed it! Thank you good Sir! Many blessings to you as well!
@@CreekstainYou just answered my question, but how long did it last? (Approximately, and did you put a coat on to get it to stick longer,if so, what?) Thank you. 🦋🦋🦋
@@historylooker7 definitely! You can use RIT brand fabric dye. They have that in black I know. My little market only had 1 box of green and by the looks of the sun fade on the box, they don't need to reorder it haha. Later dude! 👊
POV: the title said how to grow crystals on a skull and im a dude. HAHA this is rad AF creekstain ...how many bodies do you have in the basemen?🤫🤣 haha sorry I had to so i could sound like the "normal guy" in the audience of crazy folks here to lesrn how to grow skull crystals! love it man
Haha! It's almost too dang rad lol! Note: suspend the skull do not put it down on the bottom while cooling. Mine stuck to the bottom of the pyrex and I lost the bottom half of the crystals when I broke it free.
@@christinabennett9015 good question! The crystals form while the solution is cooling off so you could try sprinkling some in and see what happens! Whatever you put in there as far as an object to grow crystals on, keep it fully suspended in the solution for best results
It's quite awesome! You must try it! Oh crap, leave it to me to crystallize a dang bobcat skull lol! It was on a sandy island at the river. It's a babecat now lol.
Can someone tell me what exactly Borax is?😅 Or how its called in Germany if there is some product like that 🙈 I can read the text on the package but i don't get what it really is 😅
Dude! what an elegant presentation; slow, easy to understand and good photography. Plus your great sense of presentation.
Thank you so much for your kindness! I really appreciate you watching and commenting. I hope you make something cool 😎

CREEK that was something I've never seen. That thing is beautiful. Not sure but it may be a bobcat.

Thank you! 👍
I’m doing a possum skull but I think I have ruined my canning pot. How did you get the crystals off of your pot?
@@caMpBeIIA hot water and dawn dish soap will do the trick! It breaks down quite nice!
@@Creekstain thank you!
@@caMpBeIIA you bet! Thanks for watchin'!
That is very interesting!
Most definitely! Might have to try a feather sometime! 🪶

I believe it is sodium tetraborate decahydrate
@@Creekstain Thank you 😊
@@bunkerengel6725 you're very welcome!
I'm from France and we don't have this kind of Borax available... Do someone know where I can find some in Europe without some big delivery fees ?
I'll look into it for ya!
Fantastic, so much fun, i bet the kids would love this. ❤ both young and old 😅
I went from 41 to 14 in a flash! It was so fun!!
