Okay so this isn't REAAlly a sure fire way to get closure for this series (cause its from a different production in Chinese, without the Korean actors), You can try watching the chinese Scarlet Heart "步步惊心"'s 2nd part, where they address all the cliffhangers created in the first season. The chinese version is a hecc more brutal and stuff, but maybe it can help to let you imagination run while still managing to get a grasp of the story. The chinese version was the original too, and scarlet heart ryeo is just a Korean adaptation to that, so it's definitely worth a try hehe

I think the ending is the best from another perspective. Yes wangso and haesoo couldn't be together, but that make us can't move on and forget this drama because we always hope for they continue their story on season 2 or anything 😅😅 that makes this drama unforgetable.
What stuck most in my mind about this series is the ending, like how he looked into his daughter eyes the way he looked at his love. He had a daughter that he could've lived with atleast to feel her presence, but he was even not allowed to have that.
This drama needed one more episode to give us the hope they will meet in this life again. Such a pain. I felt like i lived inside the drama. They deserve a happy ending. Ohh they love each other so much. 💕
All the songs couldn't be more perfect .All the OST songs expressed a lot of feelings, emotions,sadness . I've never cried so much by listening to all the songs and watching the drama...I am in love with this song..... I hope will be a Season 2 !

Her trust issues and his insecurities concerning her love for him just destroyed everything, I knew from d very beginning they were not going to end up together because they belong to different times but it still hurt 😢 bad. It ended d way it was supposed to, bittersweet ❤️
Watching it 3rd time around and still I cried like the first I’ve watched this. The tragedy of this drama scars my heart over and over again until I’m used to it but it’s ok I just like how it feels. Hoping for season 2.
