    maybe some video away from the field // your "rest of life" as custom cutters // the camping spots // the small towns you visit // the small town diners // the farmsteads and the shops your customers have // as least I would like to know the size of some of the fields you are in because they seem mammoth -- if you have 9 combines scattered about in one field they have to be large -- I believe Mitchell has one that is circa 1500 acres -- just very interesting to dimension your work //we did 27 acres of 27% corn today -- all the dryer could handle overnight -- 200 + BPA

      We had a driver lost his check book in load of wheat got dumped at regional elevator. It got loaded on another truck eventually got hauled to grain terminal in Minneapolis Minnesota that driver found it while unloading brought it back to South Dakota. I'm sitting in line one morning at regional elevator and this walks up to me and says I got one of your check books.

    I wish somebody would record how they get the grain out of the bag! That would be very cool

      Fast Ag with Tony Fast from Montana also has bag recovery videos. It is a whole other machine to reclaim the grain. Basically a cross auger feeds an angled auger then into a truck beside the bag.
      A tractor runs it going in reverse into the bag.

    • @joescheller6680
      @joescheller6680 Год назад

      It's cool I guess but not for the driver loading out of the bag you have to move along with the loader. It has a big drum that winds the bag up as it loads truck ir grain cart if all goes well the bag doesn't break saving a lot of cleaning uo.

    Those rocks are a scary size. We have taken 1000's tonnes of rocks off family farm over the years. Good to see you walking them out of the field into a pile. Steve. New Zealand wheat farmer.

    What makes the grain 'tough' at night. Is that tough to cut or thresh or what? Thanks.

    Dibs' water bowl looked empty (unless he knocked it over). I just think it's so neat that he can ride along with you and that way you get to spend time with him and vice versa. Those rocks are huge. Another harvester I follow was dealing with those in Montana as well. Luckily they don't go down inside of the combine and really tear things up. So you said you would be cutting corn next, where do you get the headers for that? Does somebody bring those all the way from Texas for you as I don't recall you hauling any?

      Buy a Case so it can stay in the air tight dealership? 😏

    • @froggienm71
      @froggienm71 Год назад

      @HaydenOnHarvest bolt a length of log chain to the frame of the combine so that it drags on the ground. After x amount of minutes, all the dust will fall off because the static electricity will disappear. It's an old proven method that we used on the farm growing up and I taught to a few custom cutters in the 90s
