James, there were three ways to escape act 2, there is the trampoline, the gate, and to the side there is 2 wooden boards covering a hole in the fence, and u need to do the crowbar lego puzzle to get the crowbar and pry the boards and escape. If u stand on the neighbors front door facing your house, u can turn to the left and see it
HAPPY 2108!!! Where Fancy lantern is the best president of the USA and the Fancy Lamps of The Illuminati and the Illuminations have the catchiest songs AHHHH THE QR CODE THOUGH OH MY GOSHHHH THERE'S STUFF IN THE CODE NO WAY JAMES YOU'RE A LEGEND! OMG that QR code....I wonder what it means? what are we trying to erase? The Shadow? The neighbor? Ah too many questions!! I absolutely love that you go back in the game with the trainer to find the secrets. There are so many things that need answering! Granted we usually end up with so many more questions but AH it's so good and I can't wait for the next episode!!
Faery's Dragon No it means we can erase the nightmares because at the end the we qonquer the nightmares and kill the thing and the green light at the beginning means the basement door on the title screen sub to my channel for more awesome theroies and vids
So, the billboards in act 3 aren't speaking gibberish. On the crow, it said "RAWK. DOOF" change doof backwards. food. a bird asking for food On the billboard with the shovel, it says "LOVESH!" rearrange the letters. SHOVEL! Maybe all of it was changed to anagrams and backwards words? Or maybe it's only for act 3. If you have proof against it please tell me. Besides the letter. They might of forgotten to change it I really dont know anymore
What if the neighbor is about to kill himself because of all the stuff he’s been through and that supports your theory of the act 3 house not being real
I think the neighbor is there because he is guilty of his actions and he gave a letter to you and that he is moved out and the letter is his and he gave it to you.
Hello Neighbor writing is readable, they scrabble the letters and some times make you sound the words out. For instance it says ud on the evicted note. Ud sounds like you'd so yes you can read Hello Neighbor language
Yes. Consonants are switched and pairs of similar letters are switched ie c/k, o/a or v/w. The sign behind James when he says the language is gibberish says `RAWK DOOF` = crow food. The letter starts `UD OOT NON- YAPNEMT` = due to non-payment etc ;)
Well, the neighbor is clearly loosing his mind a bit, possibly depressed as hell.. He could be working up the courage to go and speak to the player, having tracked him down? Or.. well, what do people who's lives fall apart tend to do on tops of tall buildings? Morbid thought, but, could be a theory. He burned down his old house after finally letting his emotions get to him, tracked down the kid he had once kidnapped, and thought about ending it.
when there is missing textures, it means that is a teleporter. so you need to go back to act one and use it. and also watch Dan's video about the teleporter in the third act!
I have an idea of what happened to the Neighbor's family and how the we fit into his story but I'll admit parts of it are sort of a stretch. (WARNING: ABSOLUTELY GIANT WALL OF TEXT INCOMING) So as we can all agree, the Neighbor had a family of a wife, a daughter, and a son. He and his wife were in a car crash where his wife suffered injuries bad enough that she was rushed to the hospital and died. I think that this tragedy was the event that tore apart an otherwise happy family. I also think the daughter of the family is deceased as well while the son might be still alive. I'm not sure if this is a confirmed part of the game, but I think the cardboard cutout children that we see throughout the acts are representations of the Neighbor's children. In the roller-coaster dream sequence, I interpreted the hands extending from the front of the roller-coaster with the cardboard girl as the action of pushing. (though the idea of it representing "reaching" for the girl and never quite being able to get to her is also a very cool and valid interpretation!) If you look back after getting on the roller-coaster, you can see the cardboard boy. It seems to me that he is the one running the roller-coaster. This would imply that the events that we see while on the ride are memories of the boy. Also, blink-and-you'll-miss-it, at the very last moment of the roller-coaster dream sequence, the cardboard girl falls down into a coffin which means she is dead. I think that she was pushed off of some high up place by the cardboard boy, her own brother. It's my theory that the son and daughter climbed to somewhere high-up, possibly a tree or even the roof of their house. (considering they live there and there was a hole in the roof of the house in Act 1, I wouldn't put it past two children, especially one of which who look like a very mischievous boy from the family photo easter egg, to find some way to get onto the roof.) From there, I think that they may have had an argument or something that caused the son to push the daughter, causing her to fall off. It may have also been an accident or that both children had become unstable after their mother's death. (the roller-coaster dream sequence doesn't seem to reveal much in terms of the boy's motivation) Next, I have an explanation to what the Neighbor did after finding out about what happened. I think that the Neighbor was caught between two choices. He could either report what happened to authorities and risk the chance that his son is taken away or cover everything up and keep his son. In both choices, his daughter is still dead, so he would rather choose the one where he at least gets to keep one kid. The Neighbor started by putting up missing posters for his children. This was an explanation to the outside world for the sudden absence of both his kids. The neighbor buried his daughter in his backyard and locked his son up in the basement in order to hide him from the rest of the world. This explains why the Neighbor looks so distressed in Act 1 after locking the basement door. All of it would have gone according to plan, except for the little boy who eavesdropped on him, the protagonist, us. We break into his basement, see the room where the son was kept, explore for a while, and promptly get caught after the Neighbor starts to chase us in through the long tunnel with the triple-locked door at the end. With no other choice, the Neighbor locked us too in the basement in order to succeed in covering up what happened to his children. We, the protagonist, would have stayed locked up in that basement forever, but someone unlocks the door to the room where we are kept. If you peek through the lock right when the unseen person opens the door, you see the cardboard cutout boy. The Neighbor's son decided to set us free. He may have done this out of sympathy or because he thought we could escape and tell the world what happened. After we escape the basement, we avoid the Neighbor while finding a way out of the house, which has now been barricaded with a very high wall. This makes sense since the Neighbor now has two children in his basement who he has to keep from escaping. As we are running away, the Neighbor tries to follow us but is stopped as the boy from the basement shrieks and distracts him. In this moment, the Neighbor prioritizes his son staying in the basement over us. In Act 3, we are living in an apartment in the city. This city is probably the one we see far in the distance from the street where we used to live. This may be a metaphor for us trying to run as far as we can away from our fear. We receive a letter of eviction and with nowhere else to go, we decide to move back to our old home, despite all of the traumas we had while we lived there as a child. As we sleep in Act 3, we revisit the Neighbor's house within our own mind. It's now a giant, distorted house with many new rooms. As we conquer each of the fear mini-games, we are conquering each of our smaller childhood fears. Each of these conquered fears represents one of the three locks that caused us to get captured back in Act 1. After we get over these three smaller fears, we have to conquer our biggest fear, the Neighbor himself by breaking into the basement once again. The Neighbor tries to catch us, but this time, we're able to lock him out of the tunnel and go through the door because this time, the locks are gone. After doing so, we get to the Act Finale. At the very beginning of the Act Finale, we're in a room like the ones in the basement with the cardboard cutout boy and his belongings, further proving that the Neighbor's son was also kept in the basement. After the giant Neighbor is defeated, we're taken to a corridor with lots of interesting things to see. First of all, there are missing posters piled up to the ceiling and raining down from the sky. Just from that, I think that this corridor is a representation of the Neighbor's greatest fear. Apart from the missing posters, you can also see the Neighbor putting up the missing posters, further establishing my theory that he put them up in order to cover up what happened with his children. You can also see a shadow looming over the grave in the backyard. There is also the door down to the basement, which you can see contains yet another shadow standing on the stairs. All of these are different ways of showing the same thing: the Neighbor is afraid that he is going to be found out about everything that he's done. After going through the door, we're met with a younger version of ourselves who we have to protect from a giant shadow that breaks through the walls of the house. By protecting our younger self, we are protecting ourselves from a physical manifestation of fear. Every time we do this, we grow taller and taller until we're big enough to jump out of the house and conquer fear once and for all. After this, the fear shadow dissolves and leaves behind a peacefully infinite place of white. On one side of us is the exit and on the other side is a house. I think this house is a representation of the Neighbor's situation. He has boarded himself up in one room when the exit to his terrible situation is on the other side of the door. He refuses to free himself because he is refusing to conquer his fear, who waits on the other side of the locked door. You can also see how the fear shadow is the size of a child which reflects what his fear is. After walking out our exit, we have finally conquered our childhood trauma and found peace by moving back into our old house. So in short, this is what I think may have happened to the Neighbor's family: there was once a happy family of a father, a mother, a son, and a daughter. One terrible day, the parents went out in their car and were caught up in a crash. The father survived, but the mother was rushed to the hospital where she unfortunately passed away. This event caused the remaining three members of the happy family to fall apart. The son and daughter climbed up to the some high-up place in the house, possibly the roof. Perhaps out of sudden anger or instability from his mother's death, the son pushed his sister and she fell off. She too died. The father found out about what happened and decided to bury his daughter in the backyard and lock his son up in the basement. He did this so that no one would find out what his son did and so that the police wouldn't take his remaining family member away from him. The father covered up the sudden absence of both his children by putting up false missing posters to make it seem as though his children went missing. After painfully locking his son in the basement, the father saw that another boy on the street had heard and seen what he had just done. Panicking, he also locked the eavesdropping boy, but he eventually escaped. The father lived every day with the fear that he would be found out about him covering up his daughter's death, that the escaped boy would tell everything, that his son would be taken away from him like the rest of his family. That fear manifested into the shadowy figure that we see throughout the game, stalking the Neighbor and refusing to let him out of the horrible situation he built around himself. Or at least, that's my interpretation of the game! (Also, I am SO SORRY this was so long. This is probably the longest comment I've ever written!) jk i just copy and paste this lmfao all credit goes to rachel lee
SHOOT. WAIT A MINUTE!! WHEN I WAS WATCHING, I SAW A RED LIGHT IN ACT 3. 9:54 See the vent on the roof in the middle of the screen? Think that has anything to do with it?
The code is for the error world at the start of act 1 you need to wait 600 seconds and then the green box will appear and then you walk in and the console comes up and then type in the code to be teleported to the error world.
There’s another way to get out with the crowbar in act 2 go to the door and turn left and follow the wall u will find boards blocking a big crack u can get out of
How about the two missing kids were captured? Or maybe he did have a wife and kids. But when the wife died after a month or two the kids noticed that the Neighbor wasn't a good parent alone so they ran away to get a better life. Because he did put us in his basement and it looks like other people have been there so maybe thats where he put his own kids and rarely let them free and when he did they were only allowed to be say in the playroom or something like that..
I don’t think it’s the daughters doll because the picture Easter egg shows us his family. And the doll looks like his wife or daughter so maybe it’s the neighbors way of dealing with a lost one
Ok so i cracked the letter it goes like this: "due too none payment we are forced to notify you for the eviction. You must leave the apartment within a week. In case of violation we will have to aply to the court"
I swear the note says: "Do to non-payment, we are forced to (something, like maybe fine) you for the eviction. You should leave the apartment between (a possible date and time or something like "a week or 2 weeks time")" the last bit is difficult to understand bbut yeah it's definitely and eviction notice for the apartment
The golden grammarphone is out the map near the river. Also in the church graveyard there is a grave with a picture of the neighbours wife on it. PLEASE CHECK IT OUT!!! also you can get under the stairs in the main train station and there is another MISSING SCRIPT TELEPORTER!
The QR code reads: Now you have all the parts. You can erase me. Wait for my signs. Look for Green light in the Beginning. use *AI_errorDumping=0* when time comes. WTF?!?!?!?!?
ok so being a programmer helps things like that a LOT so umm that is related to the Neighbor 100% cuz the thing says to not actually put anything related to the errors of the AI (aka the neighbors brain) to a text file or something its basicly like 1s and 0s where 1 means on and 0 means off in programming that would be true/false and would be kept as a variable to use it at some point or another for if / else statements or something else and would mean if AI_errordumpig = false; then do something
The letters are mixed up on the signs one said shovel. The other sign said something food.also in act 3 the neighbor will sit on the front porch steps and so the same movements he does on the roof
James, there were three ways to escape act 2, there is the trampoline, the gate, and to the side there is 2 wooden boards covering a hole in the fence, and u need to do the crowbar lego puzzle to get the crowbar and pry the boards and escape. If u stand on the neighbors front door facing your house, u can turn to the left and see it

when there is missing textures, it means that is a teleporter. so you need to go back to act one and use it. and also watch Dan's video about the teleporter in the third act!

THE WRITING IS ALL ANIGRAMS
hi thnxcya
I think the neighbour got possessed by the demon and pushed of the daughter and then the son maybe died in the basement and hade the dollar MAYBE
That line of code **AI_ErrorDumping=0** means that the Neighbor will stop moving (I think... [I'm a bit of a programmer])
No James,it is the animation for the neighbour sitting on the side of the Fri
I don’t think it’s the daughters doll because the picture Easter egg shows us his family. And the doll looks like his wife or daughter so maybe it’s the neighbors way of dealing with a lost one
Ok so i cracked the letter it goes like this: "due too none payment we are forced to notify you for the eviction. You must leave the apartment within a week. In case of violation we will have to aply to the court"
I love hearing about people making stupid mistakes, it really makes me laugh
Happy New Year everyone, it's 2108
LOL
I didn’t even have headphones but I still heard that breathing
The green light in the beggining means that in act 1 you have to wait twenty minutes without touching any key on your keybourd and you see a green box
I thought it was 10
🙃
Every hidden neubor is an animation you saw running in act 1 you mentioned laughing thus was sitting on front porch
OMG FIRST FOR THE FIRST TIME!
Not really a big deal but whatever
The sound sounded like Splatoon sound effects for me XD
For the apartment there's binoculars, so that could help with seeing the neighbour
I 💘this guy
of course the BASEMENT is underneath his house. where else would his basement be, above it?
Happy 8102!
James when you were looking around the city, there was knoking
I hope every one had a wonderful New Year's Eve into 2108
2:13 We can get in by jumping on the light wall thing.
Leave the basement in hello neighbor act 1 with ghost mode
The QR code reads:
Now you have all the parts. You can erase me. Wait for my signs. Look for Green light in the Beginning. use *AI_errorDumping=0* when time comes.
WTF?!?!?!?!?
I said it was something about being evicted long ago, I mean when we first saw the alpha 4
ok so being a programmer helps things like that a LOT so umm that is related to the Neighbor 100% cuz the thing says to not actually put anything related to the errors of the AI (aka the neighbors brain) to a text file or something its basicly like 1s and 0s where 1 means on and 0 means off in programming that would be true/false and would be kept as a variable to use it at some point or another for if / else statements or something else and would mean if AI_errordumpig = false; then do something
The QR code at the end meant the green light in alpha 1 when at night there is a green light on the balcony of the house at least I think
I like to called the neighbour mart
Hey, Thnxcya please do a reaction video to the bendy and the ink machine song, it’s called build up our machine, anyway I love your videos keep it up
The letters are mixed up on the signs one said shovel. The other sign said something food.also in act 3 the neighbor will sit on the front porch steps and so the same movements he does on the roof
This is the animation of the neighbor when he sits on the porch
