A very random FYI about the first story… there are people that do stash snacks, goodies and such along the Appalachian Trail to help hikers. I have a friend who lives close to part of the trail and she does that regularly. It’s an actual ‘thing’…
That might be an actual thing but this story is completely made up, she found a stash of "donuts and pound cake". those things are perishable goods that don't even last that long to begin with, and they are both desserts. It would make far more sense if stashing random food items was an actual thing to put longer shelf life items like granola bars, water, Capri sun packages, mre's, hard tack, dehydrated food, beef jerky etc etc that wont perish in 1 week being stuck in some tree stump and would actually provide you enough calories to you know, survive. since if you're eating out of a stash that clearly means you dont have any food or supplies of your own so you're in a bad way.
Man..mark my words there's a underground civilization below us all. 😂 Remember when you watched that video where that child went missing, and a dog kept barking and digging at the dirt? They should've used a machine to dig all that dirt up. I'm telling you...they're here.
@@CampCrystalCharlie Exactly, because if you think about it there's no way that child would've been killed, and buried that fast without SOME type of evidence leading back to the killer, or child. That dog KNEW what was up, but they decided to let go of the situation. :/

i can see how you could think somebody is chasing you. you're alone in the dark in an isolated place, your mind could play tricks on you by just hearing noises, and your anxiety can create scenarios. but the one with the kids, not that i believe it, but what if the bear and the gorrilla were spirit animals or something? or some kind of entity that took the form of those animals to scare the kids in the right direction to safety. if harambe became a guardian angel that would be cool. brother bear too. lol and dang they drowned from throw up...i never heard of that before. that's messed up.
Yeah the bears and gorillas story left me with so many questions. The first one definitely could've been paranoia I strongly feel like the first story was all mental.
22:57 actually a full grown bear could run up on you full speed and you wouldn't know it they are so quite that's what makes them scary for me they are literally 1000 pound plus ninjas steven renella a hunter has a story him and all his buddys was hunting and sat down to eat before they knew it a bear had one of them but they was able to fight it off also a good example is almost any bear attack survivor that's how the story plays the bear seemingly spawns out of nowhere and is on top of them i think the only real clue you would have is if one was walking in you might have time to smell it but by then it's still probably close enough to run you down at that point
I think the kids were chased by a mountain dog which usually looks like a bear and the gorilla they described could be the owner of the dog in fur coat and all that shit to me thats the most logical explanation.

It's a real shame that MrBallen doesn't do these Missing 411 videos anymore since the guy behind the series was hard to work with. But interestingly enough, MrBallen dropped a new video the other day and the last story is like a Missing 411 case that got solved. No spoilers, just know that it involves a very mysterious situation that went unsolved for 15 years.
@Turn It Up Earlier this year the NY Post featured MrBallen in an article. It wasn't anything in-deph, essentially a short fluff piece about how MrBallen went from being a Navy Seal to a viral true-crime storyteller. David took issue that Missing 411 wasn't mentioned/credied as a source of content by MrBallen during the interview. Keep in my that MrBallen has 200+ videos and only 21 of those are Missing 411 cases. As seen in this video, MrBallen always gave exstensive credit to David in the intro whenever he covered a Missing 411 case. And there are definitely way more eyes and exposure on the actual videos than that small article that went largely unnoticed. From comments that he's made David seems to have skewed view on his Missing 411 series played contributed to MarBallen's success. However, MrBallen didn't start covering Missing 411 cases until after he'd already experienced an explosive growth in popularity. And the amount of new viewers MrBallen sent David's way can't be underestimated.
@Turn It Up Accidentally hit send too early. The other side of the story is that apparently MrBallen and David have been in communication early on. And according to David, MrBallen became unresponsive when trying to work out a collaboration video was mentioned, literally ignoring messages. After this was being discussed publicly on Reddit, MrBallen came out and said he was back in talks with David and asked for the matter to be taken out of the public eye. Nothing was said officially afterwards but there hasn't been another 411 video either, so I guess the talks were fruitless.
@Turn It Up The problem was his earlier 411 videos he didn't give credit, remember he started his channel telling "true" horor stories from people from reddit etc about scary halloween encounters in the woods, etc etc. Then to placate his viewers he dove into the 411 series, yes he bought the books but he also monetizing the videos without giving credit to David and was using the series to still maintain his growing niche and give his fans more of the "strange, dark and mysterious". It wasn't until after his popularity skyrocketed on the series that he started giving credit to David since at that point, his channel was in very good standing and he could pivot away from the 411 series and do other stuff.

I feel the first story is most likely a mental break. I mean if someone was after her, day 2 or 3 after she left the trail was remote enough for an attack on her, there would be no point of pursuit for 3 weeks. Not to mention this would have to be someone who didn't sleep for 3 weeks as she reports being chased all day, and still hearing them active at night around where she would camp.
Even if that poor girl did have some kinda psychotic break, it was still very real for her & that's one of the most heartbreaking things ever. The mental health is so very important.. So that one is terrifying if it happened for real or not. 💔

Squatch is also Great at remaining out of sight.. because they parallel you and aren’t right behind you and they’re not stupid and are great tactical hunters and they know how to get low to the ground and hide among the foliage, so you don’t see them, when you turn back and look.
I actually JUST watched a video TODAY om Star Talk: Sports Edition and it was all about CTE which is a condition you can develop from years of chronic head trauma. They just recently discovered a way to catch it and treat it before it kills
My counter to your explanation with the kids in the woods is your explanation doesn't explain how they scaled a steep incline in less the 24 hours. The only way for CHILDREN to do that is if they had an adrenaline rush. Which they would get by running for lives.
I can't remember the video title or name of the person involved, but there's another MrBallen video that's kind of similiar to the last story here, except the guy went rafting or canoeing and his body was never found. That story was super interesting to me because there were certain inconsistencies about his disappearance that leads me to firmly believe that he faked his own death. If anyone remembers info from that video please let me know.
