How do you calculate 33 1/3 of 4000

I was also stuck but I found this
To calculate the trade discount of 33 1/3% on $4000, you first find what 33 1/3% of $4000 is, then subtract it from $4000.
33 1/3% of $4000 is $1333.33.
So, after subtracting the trade discount, you have $4000 - $1333.33 = $2666.67.
