Hi, there! I'm about to begin my CS bachelor's in term 4. How did you find your first prep courses? Ones like programming fundamentals, statistics, calculus, etc.
Thank you so much for posting this. I am 25 and I became a self taught software engineer. However, I am thinking about getting a bachelors and maybe even going further in the future with a masters. I just discovered the University of People and I am researching about it to see if it would be a good fit for me. Again, thank you for posting this and congratulations

I will start studying Health Science at University Of The People. I am quite excited. I will turn 30 this year and I have been wanting to get a degree for so long. I can finally make it possible.
I know that this was nearly 3 years ago but CONGRATULATIONS!!! I hope that your degree is still leading you onward to success. I'm exploring going back to school and you are confirming for me that this may be the right thing for me to do! Peace and Blessings to you! ❤❤

Hi Lois, hope you are doing well. I wanted to find out how your UoPeople Degree has been received by potential Employers...? Do they look at it and say "Oh, you've got a UoPeople degree?... let me ask my boss and get back to you" - or "Thank you for submitting your qualifications"?
@@winterheatsummerdreams i will try it. I am working full time the rest of April but I am not sure if I have work after that that's why I enrolled for 4 courses. Congratulations! I am curious about the transfer of credits process. It’s kind of vague on their website. What’s that process like and although I have read some of your comments I was quite clear on the actual total amount accepted by the school and were there requirements like major credits or solely electives? I had all of my classes from 2 year colleges, and they transferred a total of 25 classes in two different requests. To transfer I had to enter each individual class and their description. It was a lot of work, but worth it.
Hi Joan, This is in response to your message about being afraid that a cellphone won't be enough for college. You will struggle in written assignments with citations. You will struggle with the required class - Statistics. I don't think either of these things is possible on a phone. I hope you will do well. Lois

I think the UoPeople degree is very valuable and affordable. UoPeople can also help you transfer to Stanford. They also have a Harvard connection, and they have testimonials of people who have received great jobs with a masters.
I had over 120 credits from tech and 2 year colleges. First they transferred 19 classes, then after I took about 10 classes I realized I may have more transfer credits, so I requested more transfers, and they transferred 6 more. I only needed to take 15 courses from UOPEOPLE.
Hello hazel I'm sorry it took me so long I just saw your message. You apply at uopeople.com. yes you can work full time. Yes the degree was worth it! I wish you the best in your studies!
Just under 2 years. UoPeople ended up accepting more than half of my credits from previous colleges. UoPeople has the same credit requirements as any 4 year university.
Oh I meant the mail time of the diploma from when you applied to when you received it. I just applied for my Associates yesterday (end of term when grades were finalized) and I am wondering how long it will be till I actually get the diploma.
