    This is great nostalgia its also a good example of back then if we could tell our selves i wasn’t alive back then off couse, but in 50-60 years time people will be screaming climate change and save the planet these electric buses and trams would still be our great streets of Brisbane. Why is it the general public blamed for climate change when the governments of the day were the ones that got rid of this mode of electric transport. It is what it is now.

    It can take a while to figure out where a lot of these places are unless you were there at the time. The hotel at the start is the Hotel Orient on Queen Street, which is still there. Most of the surrounding buildings have since long been destroyed on the other hand. So much has changed since. Driving through the area in peak hour would have been a nice easy walk in the park compared to what it is now.

    scary to think I could have been on one of those trolley buses, especially the ones at the Gabba, on my way to school back in '65....

    Another wonderful movie. How smart were they back then! No barriers, Pedestrians all over the road?
