JP, a ‘beam’ is a HORIZONTAL structure that SUPPORTS or carries a load. There’s no such a thing a ‘vertical beam’. Beans don’t clad walls, contrary to what @darrenkriz also uses to say.

Except for those "spice" pullouts. As a chef I would not want to be bending over every time I was cooking. Spices belong in a cabinet at EYE LEVEL!!!!!!!!!!

Not a fan of the kitchen. Has that "mcMansion" feel. It's might seem impressive but it lacks functionality. Two islands is pointless. You can't cook and interact with guests. Plus there is a secondary "butlers" kitchen so such a large main kitchen is doubly unecessary. Just means more moving when cooking. And I much prefer flat minimalist cabinets. The texturesd cabinets are both visually cluttering and harder to clean.
