  • In this Creo Parametric tutorial video, I use Creo Simulation Live to perform a structural analysis of an assembly. Creo Simulation Live provides ANSYS Finite Element Analysis (FEA) capability while designing in Creo Parametric.
    This video shows you how to:
    * Limit the scope of components analyzed.
    * Apply loads and constraints in units different than those of the assembly.
    * Change the Performance Options for trading speed vs. accuracy.
    * Control the results display.

    Hello, The video is very informative thanks for uploading it, actually i have a question ,In your Analysis on the assemblies you have used Frame as a .prt file ,as you already know that it will be welded with all the brackets, my question is how can we bond the tube to tube weld connection and the bracket to tube connection so that Creo reads as it a single entity without creating .prt file but in this case as a welded assembly.

    Hi Great Content,
    would you also be able to post a video on assembly interface preparation please?

    Great Video, Thanks for sharing. Could you please do a reinforced concrete FEA in Creo Simulation

      I don’t have any experience in that area

    I think CREo live is not supported by many PCs. Can you elaborate whoch PC can support creo live simulation? My laptop doenot supports it.

      I'm not a hardware person. Information regarding that is available from the PTC website.

    Dave, what's the point of having creo simulation live at assembly level when we can't assign rigid links / welding etc?

      1. CSL is intended as a real-time design assistant that provides feedback and guidance as you're modeling. It's intended as a complement to Creo Simulate or Creo Ansys Simulation.
      2. Software development takes time. It's not instantaneous. Just because functionality isn't available today doesn't mean it will never be there. Since CSL was introduced in Creo 5, new functionality has been introduced in every version.

    Sir can we rely on creo live simulation result values ?..because there is no meshing ..

    • @CADPLMGuy
      @CADPLMGuy  4 месяца назад

      Just because you can’t see or manage the mesh doesn’t mean it’s not there. Creo Live Simulation is meant to be used as a real-time design assistant. It’s especially good for choosing between different design alternatives or chasing down hot spots in your model. When it comes time for analysis to validate the design, you should use Creo ANSYS Simulation or Creo Simulate.

    I have created group of datum points in the model.How can I get the results on that datum points

    • @CADPLMGuy
      @CADPLMGuy  4 года назад

      You have to create a Simulation Measure (icon that looks like a ruler).

    • @dhruvgaban4910
      @dhruvgaban4910 4 года назад

      @@CADPLMGuy Simulation measure icon option is for analysis when done using creo simulate.It is not giving results for creo simualtion live.

    Excuse me, can I draw a screwdriver, I think I still can't figure out how to draw, thank you very much

      Hold a screwdriver in your hand and break it down by features. Handle, shank, tip, grips, etc.
