      Engineering is also like this. The trucking industry in America is totally like this. It is stuffed with both forms of ASPD. Mostly psychopaths. The only thing that counts is getting what they want and they will lie and cheat ad nauseum to achieve that. Your feelings and right and wrong do not enter into it. Only what they want. It has to be experienced to be believed. This is why the turnover rate for drivers is sky high.

      @bipedalbob 4 года назад +11

      @serendipidus1 my point was everybody has a price, and depending on your situation in life it will be higher or lower than someone else's.
      An old joke, a guy asks a woman would she have sex with him for a thousand dollars, she says no.
      He then asked well how about for 5 million, she answers well maybe, for 5 million. He then asks, how about for 5 thousand, she gets mad and says, no what do you think I am a whore.
      He answers we've already established that, now we're just negotiateing a price.

    • @bipedalbob
      @bipedalbob 4 года назад +6

      @serendipidus1 my point was every body has a price at which point they will compromise their principles . Including you.
      It's much easier to have morals and principles when you can afford it, when life is going well for you.
      You sound like you have led a privileged life so far, which you will likely denigh because you have yet to live through really tough times, how much weight have you lost due tomorrow money, no food, how many loves ones have you lost due to a single incident of fate or circumstance, how long have you been dealing with a painfully debilitating illness. When was the last time you were beaten so badly you were hospitalized for weeks, how long have you struggled with addiction. I suspect you think you are above all that, your naiveté let's you think your a better person than that,
      Your not, you've just been fortunate.
      Karma can be a bitch, you maybe suprised at what you will do to survive someday . Of course there are those with no morals or principles even in the best of times, psycopaths, sociopaths and such, but everyone has limits, when it becomes do or die you will have no idea how low will you go.

    In the US there are consultants that screen candidates for corporate executives on behalf companies who only hire psychopaths since they lack ethics or empathy. A consultant, a neuro scientist that left his surgical skills behind because he "hated the patients," stated that if a psychopath was not raised in violent home or environment they generally will not become physically violent. They use business to inflict suffering which is highly valued in corporate America and...in professional sports. That conversation still haunts all of us he spoke with.

      @@buddyrojek9417 - And yet they could still place sociopaths and psychopaths under them in order to do their dirty work, and we’d still think the politician at large was the good guy because s/he’s great at smiling at the camera and is just so darned photogenic and is so good at kissing and touching petulant children and horrible dictators. Also, if any of these politicians and underlings were given lie detector tests, they still would pass because did you know these types can defy lie detector tests? What’s to get nervous about if you’re only doing what you love for whom you love (yourself)?
      It seems to me our society of “go along to get along” would have to be overhauled by greatly rewarding whistleblowers and those who refuse to go along to get along (when bullied to do so by making them seem like jerks). They could only be rewarded for standing up by refusing to join in on the wrong and taking to task those joining in on it (even if it means joining the ranks of the “unpopular”) no matter how hated one is for it. But our society rewards those who gang up on ones who refuse to be a part of the evil and/or wickedness from elementary school on. Sadly, it also happens in churches more often than not.
      If you want honest leaders, look at their behavior when they were in school toward underdogs. Did they stick up for the picked on who are in the right? Or did they go along with the crowd in bullying them and treating them like outcasts so they could go to the parties and drink and toke and snort themselves into pleasurable oblivion so that their consciences wouldn’t be screaming at them all the time?
      However, almost everyone wants to feel liked...exasperatingly, even by psychopaths and sociopaths...so they may get all the extra benies in order to “live well.” Think how intensely SICK that is! So who’s mentally ill now and/or which is worse, the socio/psychopaths or those who seek their approval...especially if it’s just for things and/or fair-weather friends (until kicked out of the popular group for refusing to do a bad thing that “everyone else is doing”)? Just sayin’!

      When you figure that you cannot move up the political ladder without being an Order of the Vatican it makes more sense. The Vatican rules behind the powers of many nations through its Orders: the Jesuits, the Knights of Malta, the Freemasons. Even the Queen of England is a Knight of Malta. Harry and Meghan are Freemasons. Trump is a Jesuit, Pence a Jesuit...etc... Hitler explained that he was a Jesuit, and incorporated what he had learned from the Jesuits into his own socialist party. The great massacres against the people were mostly the cause of the Vatican: crusades, inquisitions, holocaust...etc... The popes called for a New World Order and global centralized banking system.
      Even Joseph Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI) was a Nazi youth. Prescott Bush, the grandfather of George Bush Jr was a banker for the Nazis. During an interview, Bush Jr was asked what he saw when he looked into the eyes of the pope, and he responded by saying, "God." Though the Roman Catholic institution is a worldly power, Jesus Himself said that His Kingdom is NOT of this world. These powers do not represent Him. The only entity which fully matches the Bible's description given in the book of Revelation regarding the identity of the Whore of Babylon (aka the mother of harlots) is Vatican City. Those setting up the New World Order work together with the Vatican and the UN. The Bible says not to trust in princes...etc... for good reason. Plenty of bad pastors in the world too though, involved with Freemasons and the Jesuits.
      They tell their congregations that they will be raptured away, before the antichrist comes onto the scene, will the Bible says the opposite. The rapture or catching away, occurs at the last trumpet of Revelation, which is the seventh trumpet, and the Bible says it is for those who are ALIVE AND REMAIN, and repeats it twice for emphasis. The Bible also explains that there will be a great falling away, and it is because plenty of people do not think they will have to endure persecution. I've never heard a pastor preach from the book of Jeremiah, at least the parts where God condemns bad pastors. All these ecumenical movements, seeking to merge the church of God with the Whore of Babylon, while Jesus says to "Come out of her My people, lest you partake of her sins, and receive of her plagues."

    Brave New World, the epoch of “who-gives-a-crap”, the age when lying is deemed a virtue, falsification is a valued skill and anything goes. Yes, genocide and such things, are considered mere details; and by lying I mean looking straight into another’s eyes and admitting horrendous acts as if they were commonplace.

    This reminds me of some of the interviews I have had. I spent 45 months in prison for a non violent crime and all they want to focus on was something that happened more than five years ago and not what I have done since or my experiences in other jobs. Only thing I leave with no job offers. I am not that person any longer.

    My "manager" at Credit Suisse was a textbook corporate psychopath. After I reported him, he switched from bullying to dirty tricks and kept going until my last day. The abuse investigation was squashed by his high ranking "sponsor". No wonder the entire bank is a sinking ship.
