- We spent the day at the beach in Puerto Rico with this playful stray dog. It seemed like she was meant to be with us, so we went back looking for her and with a little help we were able to get her on a flight to Philly, Pa.

You are so right @mommy. As a foster, the sight of a pup curled up in a deep sleep a few hours after I bring it in, decompressing from the “crazy” of the kennel, is the best part of the experience.

Oh my goodness. This one made me cry. I brought back a lovely homeless dog from the Caribbean, a Malinois that had been tossed off of a yacht. He lived with me for 12 years before he crossed the rainbow bridge. And another one, this one a homeless blue tick hound, similar story, not wanted, and he lived with his Caribbean brother and me for those 12 years plus two more. These two dogs chose me. I had nothing to do with it. They are far smarter than we are. Thank you Eddie

Seeing her curled up, sleeping so peacefully on that soft, comfy dog bed, in that lovely (no doubt air-conditioned) home makes me so happy I almost cried. She KNOWS she is safe now and w/the ppl she picked. A lot of island strays have heartworm and other issues; I hope they saved her in time and she becomes perfectly healthy. Isn't it nice that Chooch has a girlfriend now. Dogs do so great in pairs. This video just made my day. 😊
