    My goodness,Jesus Christ! Our fathers used to tell us about these players,Oh my word,how privileged were our fathers to have seen these football greats live at stadiums. Teenage Dladla and Mabekaphanzi, no words to describe these two,though Chiefs clearly had great great unbelievable players all round but these two are a card above the rest. Speaking as a Pirates supporter,no wonder Chiefs have amazed so much support base and trophies,it would have been clearly difficult not to with these kind of players at your disposal. SALUDE TO THESE LEGENDS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY SIR DR KAIZER MOTAUNG AND CO TO HAVE ASSEMBLED SUCH A GREAT GREAT FOOTBALL TEAM OVER THE YEARS, Hopefully Chiefs and Pirates can reclaim their status as two of SA's most dominant forces sooner rather than later

    Nothing different from today's football in terms of players raw talent. We still have it in abundance its just that today's football setup is all about tactics and strictly following the instructions otherwise you sit on the bench. Those days talented players were embraced but today it depends whether they can defend and if they can not some are overlooked at. More powerful Talent is there but things are expensive for the people who loves sports to attend the games especially at night and the other thing stoping with localisation of football was the bad idea because people in urban areas are not interested in football.

    Due respect to the best of the current crop. They will struggle to make the top fifty of yesterday's players. Who can stop Special, Rollaway, Blessing, Buick, Kaizer, Chippa, Pepe, Chain Puller, Dancing Shoes, ABC Motsepe, not forgetting Junior Ngobe, Tornado, Mebra, Mnini, Rhee, etc. Just the other day, Teenage, Jomo, Ace, Moripe, Groovy, Ltd, TV4, Shaka Ngcobo, Mthofi and others.

    SA soccer in the 80's and the 20th century are two different breeds. So much wasting of chances in the 80's! People had less stuff to do and had no TV hence they filled stadia.

      Sorry bra to respond so late. The defender is one of the best ever for Orlando pirates. His name is Oscar Jazzman Dlamini

    • @joemole6464
      @joemole6464 3 года назад

      Thanks, Jazzman's was one of my favorite defenders of the NPSL Era. Pity in this instance, Botsotso was too nimble footed to be clutched by the Jaws. Football was purely for entertainment and commercial value was not an issue. Those days, a draw would not come easy between these two teams. One had to come out victorious, and obviously the other "crying real tears"

      @Mbinda Sthulutya, it was actually 5-0 in 1977. Jomo Sono scored 4 goals. Ace Ntsoelengoe create all those 4 goals and scored the 5th.
      The following year the same Argentina squad went on to win the world cup.
