- The Daily Telegraph’s Crime Editor Mark Morri says New South Wales is in a “horrendous state” as knife crimes amongst young people soar.
“How you police it is really, really difficult - it is totally different to the gun problem,” Mr Morri told Sky News Australia host Steve Price.
“I have never had to report so many young people being stabbed in my career, ever.”
Not a knife problem, its a immigration problem
So only immigrants use knives and all non immigrants spend all their time helping little old ladies across the road, any more racist comments
If immigrants were the majority of the knife crime offenders, it's because they're still trying to assimilate into the Australian culture. Assimilation failed once again
there is a reason why mountains and oceans separate us all
@@kerrybarnes7289 there is no reason why people can't live together peacefully
@@williamsharp2532 any knife crime is deplorable, what part of that do you not understand
It’s not a weapon problem, it’s a people problem! Get God back our lives and society!
Its importing animals from 3rd world countries
Holy fuck, can't say anything meaningful with out it getting ghosted.
A few days ago I linked a .gov site in response to something.
Instantly ghosted.
Actually if you even mention cen-sor-ship, it ussually gets ghosted.
I'm not allowed to say the other thing I said.
That’s because RUclips is nothing more than a pawn pushing the agenda
I said exactly the same thing, just using formal English.
A bigger problem was people being stabbed with the needle
Many young men being raised without fathers.......
Because of domestic violence rates that have been highly correlated with fatherlessness
That is proven to raise rates of criminality in boys. Amusingly Donald Trump, who was a complete brat, would ignore orders from everyone except his father,. Dad was very abrupt.
fathers are not important anymore, watch the movie Barbi
Time to get back to the Rule of Law, I remember as a kid being stopped by a street patrol and had a pocket knife confiscated, what happened ?
Got charged with having a "knife" once, twice actually.
Cop illegally seached my bag and found scissors,
snapped them apart and said "look, 2 knives".
Yep and you can expect more of the same from NSW Police when they begin to abuse these laws!
@@GLEN-ys7qtthey've been searching us blk fellas forever already, I can't even walk to the shop without being randomly stopped and searched, in January me n my 12 year old daughter was running to catch our bus and guess what, not allowed to run when you a blk fella, got stopped and searched, my kid was terrified, I always told them what it's like for us and they've seen it with their own eyes

Ffs why,,, don't they want to hear the true feeling from people. Stop blocking our comments.
They want us to react physically so they can arrest the people showing resistance to their system.
They divide us physically, then spiritually and use the algorithm to send us into frenzies they can blame on something else after they shoot us. 😊
oh that the Nazi RUclips watch us all

What is the problem with kids and knives, perhaps it could be the background or culture that they were born into. With previous generations many had the skill to use a knife both defensively and offensively but it was unheard of to use a knife in a fight, fists can inflict enough punishment and damage without resorting to other means. This is a sad reflection of current society.
How is that gun ban going for you guys?
You can still get guns 😂😂😂
We now have more firearms than the 1996 "ban".
My 4 daughters each have a .22 they learnt on, eldest has moved up to a .223 & has been stepping up to my Remington R5 .223 semi auto; I have my Pops .308 with black Walnut stock, and I had for a while an old ADI 496 bolt action (that thing would punch out so easy 1km+, but due to no longer in production, ammo was me reloading, so sold everything for that rifle, even the meagre amount of spares I managed to find).
Had a pair of Glocks & hammerless 6 shooter, but sold those as never had the time for them for practicing/ use.
I love when the Yanks say about the "ban" and our lack of firearms and are completely wrong
@@maxrockatanksyOG If it was true, you wouldn't have a knife problem.
@@aaronaaron6569 Then how is there a knife problem? All of those gun owners just failing at life then?

I have 6 guns.
There is no knife problem
Stop believing everything
you hear in the media😂
Australia should ban all knives because banning guns worked out so well.
In Israel they have security guards in every shopping centre checking bags on entry. It didn't solve anything there but it created many jobs
It's already illegal to carry a knife. Giving cops free will to search anyone is ridiculous. We saw what the cops did when let loose during covid.
They had to control people carrying weapons of mass destruction. The Communist weaponised laboratory virus.
I have a idea, jail them.
If your going to jail for 10 years you might think again
Your Tik Tok group might learn from your new striped sun tan 😁
Hmmm... never seemed to be a problem when Australia was strictly an ANGLO/GAELIC culture.
It's almost like we'd worked out how to be kind to one another and actually build civilisations instead of being all "gangsta" and unaliving each other.
Talk about having the last laugh! 🤣

Nah, the media omits these stories when the coalition are in power
John Howard contributed enormously to this problem. Generally brutal child soldiers do not make good citizens. Harsh but true.

Possessing, using, or carrying an illegal knife in a public place can result in a fine or even a jail sentence. In Australia, all knives are divided into two categories: prohibited and restricted. Prohibited knives are those that cannot be bought, sold, used, or possessed unless the user has a valid reason for doing so.
A lawful excuse for carrying a knife in public can include situations where you need to carry a knife for sport, recreation or for work. You may need to show proof, for example, a letter from your employer to show police or to show the court if you needed to carry the knife for your job.
No. Section 51 of the Weapons Act 1990 stipulates that: “A person must not physically possess a knife in a public place or a school, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.” Self-defence is not a reasonable excuse to physically possess a knife in a public place or a school.
Is it legal to carry a Leatherman in Australia?
In many cases, carrying a multitool for legitimate purposes such as camping, DIY projects, or outdoor activities is generally allowed. However, there are often restrictions on carrying such tools in public places or if there is intent to use them as weapons.16 Apr 2024
the problem with your comment is the police and courts don't care for that law. I've got 6 charges for carrying a knife - reasons - hunting, camping and for work. police charged me 1 on hunting pigs, 1 on camping the next day( same officers) and 3 counts for carrying a leatherman and a small pocket knife(one for each "blade") for my job.
Works if you obey the law...
Criminals don't.
Maybe you could sit down and talk with them about the law😂😂
