The thing is devour hope exists which is one of the few win con perks that if it goes uncleansed unless you were getting destroyed the entire match it's pretty much a free win. If it weren't for devour survivors could just ignore totems since no other hex is so threatening is must be cleansed, but even against really good teams getting 3 hooks is not that difficult.
being forced to play counterforce every match and not even knowing if itll give any value, or risk having an uncleansable totem is the most shit meta in a long time needs a nerf def
The nerf is to do gens really fast and cleanse dull totems, it’s already been seen in multiple games with this build With all the survivor perks that have been a thrown in the killer’s ass, it’s just ironic that this one hex perk is the one thing that makes people outrage so fast
@@MisolationLIVE yeah but with pinhead or singularity it can literally be an uncleansable ruin and devour hope, and devour is not hard to get, 5 hook stages is very easy
@@win.10pro watch the second game in this video, they literally rushed gens before I could get to 5 stacks. I had a similar game where they still managed to counter Pinhead with this build. It’s not impossible, you just have to play it right. Vsing a stacked team as killer is much harder than countering this build.
I think it would be fine but only if they switch it so only Hex Totems count for the stack. That way you have to run haunted ground or you only start with 4 stacks and each totem is more costly.
My innerhealing ass when I play survivor is cryinggggg 😭 it’s faster to use a medkit with sloppy now LOL, I guess I should try it as killer since I stopped using hexes due to them getting broke in 10 seconds
It can be very boring, but i've noticed that if survivors arent dumb (which is hard because of soloq), they can just hide and even cleanse dull totems to get rid of thrill stacks, and after that you can cleanse the hexes.
@@MisolationLIVE That is definitely way easier said than done, although i have seen some killers being very overprotective of their totems and never getting a single down. A lot of people are saying that this update is very problematic, but i actually quite like that there a more strong options for killers instead of the usual pop + pain res combo and it gives a bit of variety for survivors.
@axentra7072 yeah you have to be a very active team to counter it, but it is possible. Tbf if they stopped nerfing all the strong stuff then there wouldn’t be one particular strong meta. Give killers more options and there’ll be so much more variety!
@@MisolationLIVE There would also be a lot more variety if BHVR took a good long look at certain items in matches, that heavily favor the survivors. I like to run builds that does something unique for the killer that im playing at that point in time instead of running the same boring slowdown perks, and I also consider myself a fairly good killer, but the amount of instaheals and brand new parts i see are insane, It's extremely lucky if i can queue into a game and not face a single overpowered item. Now while I am winning the majority of my games, they still aren't fun, because survivors just have so many second chance perks that i just can't help but think about what it's like for the average killer in DBD that runs slowdown perks and has to face all of that stuff, and I guess you could call it a skill issue on their part and that they could just simply "get better", but i also think that the type of player that im referring too, would have a much better experience If they were able to run four perks of their choice, instead of being forced to run slowdown and sweating their butts off to win a single match.
@@dodang_9147hex perks give massive amounts of value there should be no world where cleansing a totem should take this long while pentimento in the game. On top not every game as killer you will go against a SWF so it’s just very op and I think it should be nerfed.
Nope. I thought the exact same thing….until I played against Thrill over and over and over again. It got so bad that I brought anti hex perks and rainbow maps and even that isn’t really effective against Thrill. Cleansing is still extremely slow AF. That perk is far more unhealthy than I ever imagined possible. I thought everyone was just exaggerating with how unhealthy it was. And with Devour mixed with Undying and Pentimento….you’ll be playing an uncleanseable and miserable game. And don’t let the killer be using Face the Darkness. Only ones that can’t really see or “refuse” to see the unhealthiness of this perk either never ever play survivor or haven’t play against this build enough to truly see how OP this actually is. I’m all for healthy perks that shouldn’t be getting nerfed but Thrill absolutely, most DEFINITELY needs nerfing IMMEDIATELY!!!!! Ain’t nothing healthy about it.
Did you watch my second game? 👀 I’ve legit had 50/50 success with this build over pinhead and larry Maybe it’s stronger with undying and penti, but that kills dominance which is a good one you need to keep an eye on your totems. I still think Gen efficiency is the main killer of this build. I don’t deny that it’s super strong and is boring to go against as survivor, but there’s things on the other side like STB that’s super broken and haven’t been addressed yet
@@MisolationLIVE Im sorry i actually didn’t see that part and i agree. Gen speed is definitely the ultimate killer for killers. You can bring Pop and Pain Res and get great value out of the perks and end chases extremely fast….just to still get stomped. The way the game is designed, it’s gunna be very hard for them to work around that issue. At this point, it may even be impossible. It’s almost like you gotta play a bit scummy in high mmr just to win.
You could have some empathy you know. I am a killer main but I realize that going against Thrill is very boring and I think it should be nerfed. The survivor equivalent of your stance would be defending old Buckle Up FTP by saying “It takes up 2 perk slots, just get everybody injured”. there isn't anything to nerf if the killer player is losing with the build. it is possible to beat build currently.

I truly think this perk only damages solo q heavy. But even then, Gen speeds will make the whole build irrelevant
