I still can't believe the Barons rallied and fought back against impossible odds and the forces of the chiefs just for Pat to walk head first into the most obvious trap ever...
The Barons AND The Barons fought to defeat the Chiefs when he had a chief guard backstabbing among them. The irony of his spouse being of a rebelling coward land 🤣
I am very very amused that because of a bug, it's like the Chiefs (the bigger friend) ate the Grandee (the smaller friend) to the point that they just no longer existed. The North! The North! The North!
Very fun game, but you could tell by the end that this particular session had some kind of bug. The Barons backing up the Barons and the Grandees simply disappearing was... memorable. Almost as memorable as the Chiefs winning by Scheme technicality after losing against all odds in actual rebellion. Kind of insane. "Can you come over to our very obvious trap? I know we just literally rebelled but we totes swear we're good now."
At the end of the game one guy said “FUCK THIS GAME” and another guy said “THIS GAME IS AMAZING” and honestly they’re both right. The final battle was super dramatic and Pat was managing the game well… and then because the Chiefs rebelled and the final battle lowers their defiance to 1, it literally didn’t matter what happened, the Chiefs would win regardless, which seems like poor game design! I don’t think there was any way out of that once the rebellion began and that kinda stinks!
There definitely needs to be some kind of delay when coming out of a rebellion before schemes can go back into motion. With the right scheme choice, it can become literally unwinnable for the monarch. Not to mention the illusion of choice in putting a last-second option to raise defiance _after_ the Chiefs' victory condition was already met. What an absolute dick move.
we don't know if the different choices Pat had when the rebellion was defeated would've affected how much the defiance would be lowered, which i think is likely it would happen, but if not it does become a win-win scenario for the Nobles unless the monarch works hard on preventing a rebellion from happening
This game is so much fun! The Chiefs with their 5D chess (which I was proud to be part of). The Barons once again taking massive, often self-inflicted L's for the third game in a row.

Don't forget the Barons were also there.

Who can forget when the Barons joined the Barons to fight off the Chiefs.

I’d like to think the Grandees got raptured somehow since they were so faithful.
1:12:10 Pat is such an RE fan he has somehow engineered a scenario where biocurse is now happening even in his kingdom
He shoulda negotiated with Plant 42 and kept it going
Give Pat a virtual crown and nobles to lord over and he comes alive. It's amazing
It just deleted the Grandees from the game near the end, lmfao.
Oh, that was some bullshit at the end there.

The end of this game was a wild fucking ride.
the barons and the barons

HEY LOOK THAT'S ME IN THE CUTSCENE SAYING "AYE"
The Chiefs just straight up Kenshiro'd Pat.
What an ending!
Visiting the people of the leader who you just beheaded at the end of a bloody war, while noble, was a really poor idea.
I love that pat keeps doing reverse vote, and gets pissed off that the least popular one keeps winning.
Darn, I was hoping for Elmo-narchy
That's a bit silly the chiefs can rebel, then because they lost the rebellion they instantly win thier objective.
Hey, you didn’t include Ze/Zher pronouns. You don’t want to end up like Jorden Peterson do you Pat?
Stop
Wtf are you on about????
Jordan Peterson is such an idiot.
