    The Yakuza video game series is set in what seems to be a fictionalized version of Kabukicho..in the games they call it “Kamurocho”.

      Love the Yakuza series. Played from 0 to 6.

      Many people never heard of burusera until that game. It may have also predated the used panty vending machine.

    • @esteemedyams

      It doesn't "seem to be" a fictionalized version, it definitely *is*.

    Ken-san is an expert in so many things: sex industry, kung fu, yoko ono, and girls high schools.

    • @skylinefever
      @skylinefever 8 месяцев назад

      Does he know much about burusera? I think if this channel has odd things from Japan, it should have burusera shops.
      One funny thing is that the story of the used panty vending machine traveled west. However, it stayed alive long after those things were banned.

    I first learned about Kubukicho from it's fictionalized name Kamurocho in the Yakuza Playstation series. I finished all the games from Yakuza 0 to Yakuza 7. When I see Kabukicho now, I remember Kiryu-san, Majima-san and Haruka-chan. Although in real life, when you walk through Kabukicho now, it's very peaceful compared to the game, where you fight thugs frequently with bicycles, signs and bare hands. However, the Yakuza are still angels compared to the CIA. It was only in Yakuza 3 Chapter 11---introduced many years before the 3/11 Tohoku Earthquake, Tsunami and Nuclear attack---that the CIA was exposed in the Yakuza series. The game clearly shows Yakuza foreknowledge of the 3/11 plot of the Anglo-J3w|sh Cab@l to use planted nukes and ionospheric heaters to force the Japanese government to submit to their demands, especially in financing the Cabal. That's what I want to know from Ken-san and Meshida-san. Behind closed doors in Kabukicho, what goes on with the Yakuza, DIET members, Kishida and the Cabal? I'm sure you can get the answer from an S&M club :)

      Probably like many countries, it's a few people able to bribe politicians to get favors.
      Who actually wants to pay to prop up zombie businesses? Probably the same percentage in the USA that want to bail out Wall Streeters.

      That is interesting. Usually when I see a reference to anywhere in Tokyo, it is Shibuya Crossing.
      Many people don't even know what Shibuya Crossing is. They have pictures of it and think "Japan really is 10 years in the future." Well, how far in the future is the USA if you only see the Las Vegas strip or Times Square New York?

    Kihei Suzuki planned to build Kabukicho into a theater district inspired by Broadway, NY in America immediately after Tokyo was burned down by the American military during WW2? He must not have been very bitter about it considering the official Kabukicho name was set as soon as April 1st, 1948. It is extremely fitting that a city plan that went so completely sideways as you described has a birthday on April Fool's Day...

    I have a theory why Ken loves to do these kungfu impersonation, I believe these kungfu movies have created a lot of distortion in him and he needs to displace these distortions through his performing art. I also get a lot of distortion when I read kanji in the Chinese meanings, words like 勝手,出先張or 我慢are just nonsensical in their Chinese meanings. I too find it necessary to displace them in order to make my logic smoother.

    Misogyny and Japanese politics is not a polity of the philosophy of dogmatic truth in the spirit of the Constitution. Recently, the U.S. Congress has used the National Institute of Standards and Technology agency ethics with civil rights. Is the U.S. Congress ethically correct with investigative process in the interest of justice? The Assistant U.S. Attorney for the United States can consider gang intelligence with Multi District Litigation in these regards? I am responsible for my letters to the U.S. Congress, the Assistant U.S. Attorney Office (Civil Rights Section), and all other correspondence to the agency of the Japanese government.
