Demons are nothing but a manifestation of the self appearing in your reality. Push more positivity and push away the darkness in your brain and bring the light into your brain and light it like a light bulb.
Thank you for this. I'm 48 and just recently realized my fear of the dark is because as a child for a 2 year period I was sexually abused and it was usually in the dark.
25 years of age and the phobia grown more and more irrational. Its not just around sleepy time anymore,,, during a power outage i can't even get up to use the restroom without a flashlight or a lit candle. When its evening, I can't get into any other room of my house unless that room is pre-lit. I don't go out socially a lot because of the few minutes i'll have in the dark once I get home and the fun is over. This,,, helps... Thank you... Not as deep as it would need to be to completely eradicate the phobia, but an excellent start nonetheless
I absolutely love your videos Mark. They are packed with useful information and techniques that are clever and easy to implement. I enjoy listening to these videos and I recommend it to my colleagues and students. Thank you! Best regards from a clinical psychologist from Denmark.
FOr me its not as bad as some of the people you metioned have it, but its bad enoth. I can't walk my staris up normaly for example. I alway feel like Im being watched, my flight instinkt kicks in, I feel like Im being chased, and I enter my room, run to my bed and cover myself as much as I can. Only then I calm down. And everytime Im turning of the lights to go to sleep, I feel like Im being watched from the shadows again, and I run through my room ect. Its terrible. Im never gonna live alone, Im gonna have a panic atack like 4 times a week :(
@@EIia_M i think if i thought like that i would be always super aware of my surroundings and fearing everything and had to be around people who i trust the most.
I'll be going to do Paranormal investigations in my life soon, not scared of the dark as I've been in the dark for a lot of time in times. The dark just drives me crazy, not scared but just crazy.
I am 27 and still so afraid of the monsters on under my bed or the monster in the dark lol has made my insomnia sooooooo bad cannot remember when I last slept well
I'm here cause I remembered this funny thing I used to have. As a teen, I realized sexual arousal helps lol. That's when your mind is occupied with nothing else than whatever playful thought it's occupied with. I couldn't think about stupid monsters when I wanted some ugh. I grew out of it as well as my nyctophobia. I think what worked is me focusing on other things. Miss those days.. oops, nights, that was fun.
When I’m in an enclosed space like a solitary room I’m not scared at all but the living, kitchen and dining rooms are all connected in my house and it’s the first thing You see when You step out of my room what can I do about that
I tend to watch scary games... so that’s what scares me. I need to stop, but I love the videos.
Same
Nice. Now, how do I get rid of demons? Specifically the nocturnal dementor type stuff?

I'm not afraid of the dark I'm just afraid what's in the dark
Well get it into to your mind that whatever exists in the dark also exists in the light

I have trouble meditating with my eyes closed because of this problem. After a couple of days I sense an oppressive darkness in my mind.
Very helpful for therapists Mark. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
It’s really hard for me. I’ve got to the point that I need lights and an audio playing to fall asleep..
You’re not alone

Try doing something that would “scare you to death” and teach yourself to relax
