Search & Rescue Interrupt our Lovely Mountain Meadow Hike!

On August 27 2024 Molly and I hiked the lovely Davis Ponds trail at Staunton State Park at Bailey Colorado. It was a beautiful day, and except for being buzzed by search and rescue helicopters conducting training exercises, it was a quiet and peaceful hike. Staunton SP, we found out, has a FREE "Track-Chair" program to allow folks with disabilities to more easily access the trails...cool...more info at the link below. I hope you enjoy!
