Talking about Jimin's dance, if you ever get an opportunity to watch his extended performance of Black Swan from their recent ON:E concert. Blessing for your soul & eyeballs. He goes all out on the contemporary dance. Gorgeous, moving art. 💜

When he came with the great visual, mirrors present him but he lokking back, mirror's shadow all freeze. He look near one mirror and he.know him there... Then he start sing but mirror's shadows all gone.... That is the first death

This was filmed in The Los Angeles Theater. Built in 1930-31 in the French Baroque style. The one doing the solo dance is Jimin..he went to school for contemporary dance but is trained in many styles.

In case you didn't know yet, this album "Map of the Soul" is based on the book "Map of the Soul" from the psychologist Jung. Jung talk about the way to find yourself, the real you. You must compose with the person you show to others, your "persona", the thing you hide deep inside beacause of fear or shame, your "shadow", the you who remember and show happiness, your "Ego" etc... So when the choréo translate that. Suga meet his shadow in the interlude. When he said "this could be my first daeth", Jungkook stop dancing, so he take his hand so he can dance again. Black Swan is all about the fear to lose the passion (this is the first death). I stop there because there is so much more to explain, but I don't want to overwhekl you XD (sorry for my english, I'm french ^^)

Being into Buddhist philosophy, you may have also gotten into the more esoteric/tantric side of things... it's my opinion that when they do the hand-grabbing maneuvers you were speaking about, that an energetic transference is taking place. If you notice, it's always when the vocals are shifting, and occurs between who is currently singing and who is next. It could just be a coincidence, but since I've also noticed the tai-chi and Qigong moves incorporated into their choreography, I kinda doubt it. 💚✌️💜

They are a bunch of super talents and nicest personalities put together. There is nothing they can´t do. On that day when a CEO of BigHit decided to debut these 7 particular men as BTS with a supporting team behind them, a lucky star must have been shining upon him.
Jimin - a "star" dancer in this MV, trained in contemporary dance but is great in other styles too, a member of local line
J-Hope - a street dancer and a lead dancer in BTS had to learn to rap, now a member of a rap line
RM - the one you know from what I have seen, a leader, a face of and spokesperson of BTS, a rapper and producer
Jin - an oldest member, a member of vocal line, studied to be an actor, had to learn both dancing and singing at age of 21!!!!!
V - a member of dance and vocal line
Suga - an underground rapper and producer prior joining BTS, mega talent lyricist
Jungkook - a "golden maknae" of BTS ( a youngest super talent member ), front and center, lead ( main) vocalist, lead dancer, good in sports and EVERYTHING else in between :-)
