Musical mastermind Tamás Kátai is back with his Thy Catafalque, bringing yet again a hauntingly beautiful mix of Prog, Avant-Garde, and Post-Black Metal on new album Vadak (out June 25 via Season of Mist).
I sat down with Tamas for his first English video interview (recorded in April 2021).

"Ismételd el a magnó után a következő érdekes versikét" - This is what is being said. And because Tamás didn't clearly remember it, I am writing it down just for the record. Means something like: Repeat the next interesting little verse after the tape.
It doesn't sound eerie at all for Hungarian ears. It's just a very kind speech, clearly dedicated to children.
Every speech made in Hungarian is ghostly and eerie for those who are not used to it I guess.
