I have had a 2008 crf450x for about 2 months. Its my first bike. I initially thought it was trying to kill me until today lol. I adjusted the suspension settings and It now feels a lot more safer and less like it wants to kill me.
Weight is the only problem with electric start. 30# on the 250. I love the X models because when you crash you're not kicking the piss out of it. I like the handling and the skinny feeling of the R model though.
i agree with that 100% honda made such a terrible 2-stroke these past few years and even down to the late 80's, yamaha has the best name for two strokes out there but still havent really fine tuned their 4 strokes to perfection, bots extremely good brands but they still cant be all perfect
good point. especially comin to a honda video just to bash it. i dont do that with yamaha. :P it doesnt matter what you ride, just that you love ridin it.
Yeah, the CRF is way too fast! It is way too much bike! It was made for power junkies........like me! I wouldn't own any other japanese motocross bike. I'll always Ride Red!

@BargoRacing4 different gearing, different seat, different suspension tuning, e starter, and a odometer are the most noticable ones
just sold a 2003 450 r and that was a sweet bike too getting ready for a new 450 x
might be a little bg for your first bike, but considering your size, i would say yeah, hell with it, this bik will carry you for many years.
so is that like a road bike to? cuz ive seen them with turn signels
the wr450f is just as good if not better
