@@connergalles7106 I think its beautiful how he has the chance to experience happiness by staying with casca in elfheim (once she deals with her ptsd) if he can just let griffith go. Genuinely one of the most well-written, complex and fascinating antagonists/villains ever in my opinion. Or at least that I’ve ever seen. His fall from grace arc was so tragic and dark yet makes so much sense given what we’d come to learn about his personality. Stripped of his ability to control his environment left Griffith scrambling for survival in the form of any control he could find. His ambition and ego was the death of him, ultimately outweighing what ever humanistic qualities and empathy he possessed, and when those were stripped completely we saw a raw, living embodiment of griffith’s greed, ambition, ego and desperation for power. It’s just incredible, I could go on way more about it. The fact that he wasn’t all evil, that though narcissistic and manipulative he still was shown having moments of genuine empathy, emotion, and care for others. But his harmful tendencies and drives that he relied on like gospel to the point of obsession, that had become necessary for survival to him, ended up consuming him. That’s what’s most tragic, is that he was human as much as he was a bad person. He’s like a cautionary tale. It’s amazingly psychological & complex writing and characterization ugh.

I will always respect guts bc he was forced into a family of friends he didn't want, turned to love them, and lost them anyways. Idk what else could make a stronger man
What I love about Griffith is that even though he never said it once through out the series, you can tell how much he loved Guts to the point where he threw everything away after getting depressed and then sacraficed everything and everyone to regain his place. This sort of twisted character is very interesting to me.
I truly think he was in love with Gutts but channeled it through control and ownership. Once he realized he couldn't control him anymore all logic left the window.

We will always appreciate your art and Berserk, your masterpiece.
Griffith's tragedy really is one-on-one to Guts in this perspective...
Un pure chef-d’œuvre
I was a kid when i first saw this video but recently I read berserk and I get what a masterpiece it is
An absurdly good AMV.
Still the best manga I've ever read. Thank you legend Kentarou Miura
saw this amv when it first came out and it planted the seeds to get me into watching berserk; I just finished watching berserk now and I’m forcing myself to read the manga bc I want to know more LOL
I remember this video made me watch the beserk 97 and read the manga. I am glad stumbled upon on it.
Can we just appreciate that’s guts is so awesome that even Griffith was dependent on him
There is absolutely nothing, like Berserk.
Devilman came close, it's an inspiration for Berserk.
