    When I saw K100 cafe racers few month ago, I knew it was the one for me. Found really great bike near me and bought it few weeks ago. Absolutely love it. The engine makes these look unique.

    front end looks dope, i really like the color of the tank too
    personally i would have offset the brake rotors and immediately aligned the forks and brake calipers

    Personally I’m a fan of the inverted forks
    More ridged better for sprung/unsprung weight and as a cherry on top upgraded front brakes with a bigger disk and more pistons applying force to the pads
    Truly a great upgrade when done correctly
    Losing turning radius isn’t the right way though a lot of guys accept it I don’t think I can personally

    • @BayCityRestorations
      @BayCityRestorations  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes, I agree the turning radius was an issue. Jaxgarage has come out with a revised version of the kit that has a higher offset to bring the forks out a little further from the tank to get some of the turning radius back.

    • @BayCityRestorations
      @BayCityRestorations  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, swapping to the CBR forks did reduce turn angle due to interference with the tank. Jax garage has newer version of the front end kit with a higher offset which helps with the steering angle.

    • @BayCityRestorations
      @BayCityRestorations  8 месяцев назад

      Front end suspension components is not really something you want to skimp on. Most kits all run around the same price range. The cheaper alternative is keeping the original forks and shortening them to get the bike lower in the front.
