Thank you so much, I've watched so many videos explaining how to play Lorcana and none of them actually play the game. It is so much easier to learn watching it this way
A rule that isn't explained in the quickstart rules is that a card that becomes shifted retains everything from the card it shifts onto, because Aladdin is ready and dry the shifted Aladdin could have attacked Prince Eric.
This was the best lorcana quest battle video I've seen! Very informative and we could actually see each play also!! And thanks for the graphics when playing different cards!!😁✨️👍🏿👍🏿
This is a lot more straight forward than I expected. It looks fun. Am really hoping with boosters I can construct my own cool deck with two colours, but will def get a starter one in the beginning.
Thanks for the playthrough! You all were very pleasant to watch! Over here in the USA, the stores I deal with, either are price gouging or are not able to get product in. $10.99 USD a pack, $240 USD per Booster Box and those starter decks were about $30 USD a piece. I hear Walmart and Target will eventually have them. (Some already had gotten them) but you got to be careful because since the booster boxes aren’t factory sealed with cellophane, people are sliding the packs out of the side and if they buy the box, they take it home, take the packs out and replace them with something else. Then they return the sealed box and get their money back
That and technically when she sent Kristoph after the duke he should have taken 2 damage and been at 1 health but they didn’t do that. But that’s okay. I am pretty sure it would not have made to much of a difference of the end result. She still would have won. Also the dinglehopper didn’t need to be discarded. It’s an item so it stays on the board.
When you shift, that card was used shift to play, he can atack or go on quest on same turn. Because that card was put on other card was already to do the chalenge or quest action.
Loved the desparate attempt at avoiding the word "tapped" - understandable though because its basically MTG in a Disney theme with a couple of small tweaks. I do like the sound of the lore points as a win condition but I think the most interesting point for me is being able to use every card as either the character or for ink/mana which can bring in some really interesting decisions.
New to TCG, this video was so helpful. Question. Did Steel Simba Rightful Heir heal damage on both plays? Was he supposed to and how can you tell if he (or other cards) was supposed to?
Played a demo game of this at UKGE the other month! Wasn’t fully convinced at the time, but as a Disney fan I will be keeping my eye on the game for sure. Did you guys ever do any videos from UKGE or did you not go in the end?
Fixes one of my main complaints about Magic, but not the second. No mana flood or screw is is fixed because most cards can be resources and resources are generic. But not having options in the mid/late game is not. Though I don't know how either would effect gameplay balance (having only seen a few videos), I immediately think of two house rules. Rules the first: if you start your turn with no cards, draw two instead of one. Rules the second: You cannot look at the cards in your inkpot. But if you have an 'inkable' (or whatever it is called) card in your hand, you can swap it for a card in your inkpot instead of playing. That way cards you play as ink aren't lost forever, but you will want to try to remember which cards were played where, so you can get back a card you want or know which car your opponent is taking.
The decks play like rock, paper, scissors. Looking at other videos and the cards themselves, I was hoping to make a Sapphire/Emerald deck vs a Ruby/Steel deck
Played it at a demo yesterday and am mega excited. Hopefully my FLGS get enough to fulfill my preorder!! Edit: had to turn off the demo as I couldn't deal with Wheel's mansplaining
The lines at GenCon just to buy this were ABSURD. Like, fine. Maybe it’s fun. But you’re all absolutely insane to wait in Disney-level 8 hour lines to BUY A GAME.

That’s awesome that James Corden is playing Lorcana! Hope to see you across from me at an event one day! 😊
I came for maddie and left loving everybody on the channel. There all so inviting and adorable. Can't wait to see more! :D🖤🖤💙💙
Just passed y'all on a GenCon escalator. Virtual handshakes 😊
I love your camera set up! And yes Liv indeed ; Cruella is an icon ❤
Thanks for this preview! Would love to see a 3+ player match in the future.
Thanks for the playthrough!

Here in Canada most extra sets sold out but we still have Starter decks for 21.99 Cdn to 29.99
Thank you for showing! This was definitely needed to get a basic understanding of the game for me😂 good games!❤
Can't wait for this! Hoping my FLGS has it on the 18th!
25:19 Stampede only deals 2 to already-damaged characters. Fun playthrough though!

"ALL MY BLOOD IS COCONUT WATER!"
Perfect, Wheels.
😹👌
Edit: As an Aquarius, Imma be rocking an Amethyst deck of sorts.
43:40 - "Behind every man is a strong woman" lmao Mickey is the patriarchy 😂

I saw you guys today at local lgs and almost said hi :)
Sorry we didn't get to chat! Feel free to say hi next time you see us, we'll be about 😊 - Liv
@@dicebreaker not your fault that i’m too shy! Need to overcome that tho, planning to go back there tomorrow and hopefully trade some cards :)
52:40 you should have also attacked with Raffiki since he gets rush. That way if you banished maleficent, she wouldn’t get a chance to heal.
New to TCG, this video was so helpful. Question. Did Steel Simba Rightful Heir heal damage on both plays? Was he supposed to and how can you tell if he (or other cards) was supposed to?
Thank you for not beating around the bush and being very clear. I wish half of the videos on here were done this well.

looking forward to this game
Can you guys do an unboxing video of the gift set and the extras that come in it? 😄

That's way too powerful though. That basically ruins any force discard or any other type of hand shenanigans.
These mechanics will show up as card abilities. You can't make the base rules too flexible or you lose future design space.
56:54 again you should challenge first then cast Aurora healing your character(s) and then quest
The decks play like rock, paper, scissors.

min 55:36 ITEM dinglehopper should have stayed in play? it doesnt say to banish item... good vid!
This super awesome
50:00 you could have challenged with maleficent and then brought in your characters to heal her
Nice Micah Ulrich tattoo
Thank you!!! - Wheels
Stampede. Deal 2 damage to chosen damaged character. Aurora had damage???
53:12 you now figured it out.
Match starts at 9:00
Great production value and Maddie gorgeous.
I see ALOT of Keyforge in here.
The Maddie speed run
🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Why is pongo the villian
Played it at a demo yesterday and am mega excited. Hopefully my FLGS get enough to fulfill my preorder!!

Erm, someone needs to tweak those autogenerated subtitles on the intro.
Welcome to whatbreaker??
Hurt seeing cards being shuffled with out sleeves 😅

Whats wrong with that
@@varyent560meanwhile funcle chuck probally spends 8 hours a day on their phone 😂
Did she just really say look at these play mats when they are off screen and we can't see them? 🤔
seems fun if youre a disney fan but rather play Radlands anyday for the week over ANY tcg. Radlands has all the feel of a tcg with none of the chase.
