I bought a custom Crisloid Champion board. It is slightly smaller than their tournament board. Just waiting on it to get made and shipped to me. The mass produced stock boards are a nice price but once you get into the custom side of things. The price goes quite high depending upon what you customize. I went with the New Black case with Red & White Legacy points and black leather dice cups. Since I have 1.5" Bakelite Checkers, Bakelite doubling cube, and precision dice. I only went with the board and cups. It still costed me almost $440 with shipping. Since I have Bakelite checkers. I wanted to get my board to have a vintage look without the vintage wear.
I recently bought a Crisloid Board championship size. Good workmanship and the board is light. The cork surface takes some getting used to though at least for me. Have you ever reviewed a P-40 board?
@mikewilcox4346 not reviewed but played on a few, not a fan. The clanky noise and the loud cups are very unappealing to me. Checkers chip after some use.
If it were 300 I would really considering this board. On Amazon in Europe you get a Wycliffe gen 3 for this kind of money (279). The Crisloid costs almost double 559.
Unfortunately, not unlike everything else, inflation has reared its ugly head and this board will cost you, with shipping, about $375. Nonetheless, it was my choice for a premium, tournament board.
The sound of the dice knocking on the cork is really nice and satisfying!
Yes, it's a nice board to play on, I've heard of people falling asleep to the sound of backgammon sounds on RUclips lol
🤣🤣🤣

Right, their custom options make the price jump fast. A lot of people enjoy Crisloids. Hope you enjoy your board!

It's worth it for $300, but here in the U.S. the Crisloid boards are the same price, $300.
No on crisloid website 300 dollars so I reckon get board delivered to Europe it be an extra 80 euro
I just ordered one to Europe. It was 300+shipping+import, which was just a bit over €500. But it got here pretty quickly (about 2 weeks)
Am I missing something? He says he asked them for an extra set of cups that are black, but the cups in the video look brown.
Right, the brown ones are the ones that come with the board, black ones are the extra cups they gave me (not on video, same cups different color)
Скажите пажалуйста какая точная толщина в мм этих шашек с размером 44,5 мм. Спасибо.

Nice review. Peing a little pedantic, you have set the opening position up wrong.
My sister sets the board up this way, I hate it. so we play half the games her way and half the way my set up way.
It's how you set it up to play in the opposite direction
