@@pjchisholm good point I hadn't thought about those style of soft flask. I will pin this comment. Will probably be useful for others. Thanks for the feedback and watching the video. 😎🤘
It's great that you've been using the vest regularly for a couple of months, and not just looking at the features. Looks like a good bit of kit. Nice review, Ben 😊
I always think it's best to thoroughly test these things before you give opinions on them. Especially as they can cost quite a bit of cash and it's good to have an informed opinion. Thanks for watching Simon! 😎🤘
Thorough test drive and review mate . I’m not a fan of vests and only wear them if totally essential . I currently use either a Nathan or a Salomon . Have you used either of those ? would be good to know how it compares as aesthetically that instinct does look good . Of course that could be your supermodel good looks selling it ?
Thanks for the detailed review, Ben! The x10 vest sounds versatile and comfortable. Your insights on the pockets and lacing system are super helpful. Keep up the great work with your reviews and running journey! 👍
Thanks Mihai! I hope it will be useful to everyone. It's a great pack for sure. If you're in the market I would recommend it for sure. Thanks for watching buddy! 😎🤘
Thanks for the detailed review Ben, I really like the rain jacket bit , clever common sense engineering from people who have ran trails, Pole solutions on such a small pack is good. Do they have a larger option for multi day events?
Cheers JBS. It's been a really solid pack mate comfortable and functional. 👌 They do indeed have larger packs mate they are very popular amongst MDS runners actually. They have a lot of the similar features but they just have increased volume. Thanks for watching mate! 😎🤘
Great review Ben. That stuff pocket on the top is a great changer isn't it. As you know taking your vest on and off to get access to your jacket can be such a pain. This irradicates that problem. Looks like it has loads of space, absolutely ideal. Also looks perfect for carrying the drone and stuff. Nice one mate 👍.
Cheers Stephen! Yeah I have been really impressed with this vest mate. It has some great unique features that really work well. Thanks for watching bud I really appreciate it! 😎🤘
Cheers Mark that's very kind of you mate. I will probably pick up a pair of poles at some point next year. Could be a good weapon in the arsenal to take my running to the next level. 😎🤘
Thanks for watching! I haven't experienced any rubbing issues with the lacing system at all. The material of the laces is pretty soft and stretch so I think in most cases it will be fine. I hope that helps. 😎🤘
Great review Ben.. i did bought the Xx20 for my hiking and backpacking purposes.. a lot of pockets and i love it.. now it's my go to backpack for my next backpacking adventure..
Nice one Ben, looks like a good option for a 10lt vest, with lots of customisation all around. Being able to access your jacket without taking the vest off is always a good option, it just reduces the faff 👌
It certainly does decrease the faff Martin. It also gets rid of the barrier for doing it because sometimes you put off getting your jacket out because of the hassle but with this it makes it easier. I am sure you will be using one soon enough 😉
Cheers James! Yeah Instinct are new to the UK market. They are very popular across Europe especially with MDS and UTMB runners. It's a french company. Really enjoyed using it. Top bit of kit. 😎🤘
So thrilled to see you getting stuff to review, Ben, awesome!!! Is it unisex? IF possible, could you get a woman to try it out too?? For us ladies, the positioning of the flasks in front can make or break a vest and many vests claim to be unisex but are definitely not at all!! Just from the look of it, this one seems like it could be good for women too!!
Very lucky that the Beta Run guys look after me 😊👍 I will see if I can get Katie to try it on and maybe I will stick a short up on RUclips. I know that my buddy Danielle is going to be using a larger volume model for her upcoming 200 miler next week. She has said it is very comfortable. It basically features the same front strap system with a larger back compartment. Thanks for checking out the video Bev! 😎🤘
Nice one mate, great review! Hadn't heard of Instinct before so good to hear the features on their vest and your thoughts on it. Looks well put together with plenty of front pockets for snacks and great to have options with carrying poles so you can have them where you like.
It's really well built too Ben. It will last a long long time. Functional and comfortable. Everything you need in a trail vest. Thanks for watching bud! 😎🤘
Just got this vest. Worth noting that the long 500ml salomon soft flasks don't fit well in this vest.

Looks a very well thought out bit of kit. Very impressive features Ben. Great job on the review too mate 👍
It's a really solid vest Phil. It has a few unique features that work really well. Very comfortable. Thanks for watching mate! 😎🤘
Great walkthrough of the vest. Loved the shots in the mountains & hills as well at the start.
Cheers Daniel! 😎🤘
Great review ben, ive been wondering if i should give one of their vests a go, the jacket feature would be very handy 😀👍
It's a really solid price of kit. Didn't mention the build quality in the video but it is built like a tank. 😎🤘
