Why can't we just enjoy the beautiful original.... so much happening and the softness and the magical feel of the original melody and music is distorted. Kid is super talented and can easily do his own music without doing all this. There's no other voice like Edward and there never will be so let those beautiful songs as it is for future generations also to feel and enjoy. Don't get trapped in this musical disaster wave created by our generation.... they are only instant pop ups and rarely sunk in anyone's heart. Edward and his generation has their identity and let that remain as it is because it's just perfect the way it is. Anyone can try but there will no more be musical geniuses like kemadasa master, Rohan Weerasinghe and their parallels and I don't believe they made music with space for improvement. So let's not insult their work by trying to remarked them to suite a generation with a different taste of music. We have so much of young talent to do just that and they are making their own identity to go in history and that's good enough... just the way how I feel.... with deepest respect for all old and young srilankan artists with love !
