Your comment about your electronics store makes me envious. I have to try to have all the parts and materials I need in my small abode. For a couple of years, (until they finally went under,) I had free use of a workbench in the back room of an electronics surplus store, and a key to the building. It was marvelous. I moved in my most-used test equipment and loaded up the workbench with it. I had millions of electronics components at hand throughout the store, 24/7, all organized and easy to find, project boxes, stand-offs, displays, bezels, meter movements, microcontrollers, soldering iron tips, solder wick, FET's, 100 kinds of wire and cables, everything. I ran a tab there, if and when they actually charged me for anything, which they seldom did. It was Heaven. And all I had to do was be the old tech wizard in the back room who could answer questions about everything. I'd identify, sort, label, and price new incoming surplus when I felt like it, and grab really cool stuff for cheap or free, (like a 1927 Arborphone radio in a beautiful wooden case.) It was like being the Wizard of Oz. I'd even pick up interesting projects with start-ups in the area. No resumes. No interviews. People would come to my little backroom kingdom, see my bench full of equipment of all vintages, look at what I was working on, (a phasing, frequency agile, mag-loop antenna array,) and say, "You're just the person I was looking for." It was great. I miss it. Sigh.
The MAR-6 data gives a layout for an evaluation board with components shown installed but I don't see any dimensions. Thus my board I made may not be optimum at 2 gigs or something but the amp works fine at HF. But I will use the WA5VJB boards if possible now. I think Mini Circuits wants to sell you that board if you can afford it.

Merry Christmas IMSAI Guy and a special Merry Christmas to IMSAI Dog for all the hard work he does inspecting and approving all those circuit boards.
Merry Christmas to you and your family and thank you for sharing your knowledge.
