When I first noticed Matt many years ago I thought: ”Well, this kid can play...“ - I hadn't really realized until now, though, how good he'd become as a guitarist and a musician (which isn't necessarily synonymous) in all these years. This is so much fun to watch! He's obviously got the guts to really feel what he plays and the brains to play intelligently without making it just a sterile show of technique - amazing! Authentic Blues feeling plus the playing skills of a Jazz man - a combination that's hard to beat...
What a great concert. Matt and the guys are just amazing. The energy, the vibe, the passion. Like Matt says, real tube amps, real drums, real people, real musik - this is life :-)

@@RupesMcDGuitar The first time I saw Matt years back I got in early to set up my camera & a guitar case was on my table in front so I put it side stage... a few minutes later Matt comes in looks at my table & I point to the case.....I had grabbed the 61 & moved it on him! I was a little embarrassed but thought WOW! How cool was that.
I have watched this at least 20 times now ..awesome music .awesome band ..awesome guitar playing ..awesome blues ..love it !!
