I also love your Nora Tokunaga 😍 nice that you have one of the parents, and that you have the 'pair' Roy and Nora. Thank you, Danielle, for taking the time to join in on this CareCollab, your time is very much appreciated. Good point mentioning the fragile structure of new growths. I always find that they are very floppy and flimsy and don't seem to take any strength from the rest of the plant, until it starts to mature. Have yourself a beautiful rest of your day, my fellow orchid lover ❤🙌🏼❤🌸

I loved the way you mentioned the traits of both parents showing in your plant. It's a lovely one, the blooms are gorgeous ❤️🤗

    Danielle,
Just started 4 Phals in WC. I watched your “how to transfer phals” video many times. After that I then dumped out more water so that each one has a small amt.!
I get something out of your video every time I watch.
Thank you & I will probably have more questions. I didn’t add any fertilizer initially but will do so next week.

      Thank you for your videos.
The WC method is something I really hope I can succeed with.

I dunno, I just can't really get into the Latouria types. Other than rhodostictum, there's just something about the blooms that turns me off. Now the black hairs, I love them, even though they are rather a pain in the rear to grow well.

I understand, there’s a lot of repetitiveness in the blooms. The Roy looks like the Royal chip, etc. but I have a few that are really different like the Green Apple and Firewings that keep it interesting for me. Plus I love the atroviolaceum so much! It’s so alien looking.
I do understand about the black hair types, I had one early on and needless to say….. I killed it. But I did really like it and would definitely try again.
