Great reaction man! My dad took my mom to a Seger concert when they were dating, and as they say, the rest is history. Im 42 years old and have literally been listening to Seger my entire life. Mom held me in her arms when I was a child and danced me around the living room to his music on the turntable. When I started walking, she started teaching me how to dance. Til this day, if theres people over at their house having a few drinks and carrying on, we put on the very albums that we danced to when I was kid and have a dance. Its something that her and I have always shared, memories brother, they cant be taken away. Mom is my rock man, she loved me at my worst unconditionally. Bobs music has been a huge part of those memories, my life, and his writing has helped me more times than I can count.

Heart. Soul. Pure human feeling. It transgresses race. It ignores class, culture and breeding. It transcends everything and provides a lifeline between all of our prejudices into a connection on a level that is so human that it transcends everything to bring us to a chilling realization that says "I GET this" and connects us on a level that rises above everything and says "this matters, this brings us together in love" on a visceral level. Thank you for providing a platform for this to shine.

Amazing I've been listening to Bob Seger since the early 70's and told I don't know how many people the true secret to Bob Seger is he makes you remember your memories thru his story telling and that's really all he does but he's just happens to be one of the very best story tellers there's ever been. As others have said he's got about 87 million great songs simply because he writes great stories that make you remember and most importantly make you feel. I just today found your channel and you doing Night Moves and Against the wind which by the way is one of my all time favorites by anyone. I'm sure you will have a hundred songs suggested all will be great but you have to listen to Roll Me Away a song of personal freedom. I'm truly glad I found your channel and especially you doing Bob! As I've just found liked and subscribed to your channel I don't know what you have or haven't heard so I won't go crazy and suggest a bunch of stuff for now but do listen to Roll Me Away you will love it and again I am very glad I found your channel. I really appreciate your honest reactions as you discover songs, that most all of us are very familiar with. Your facial expressions remind each of us to our own reactions, the first time that we heard these songs as well. You are correct about Bob's narrative writing skills, he is truly gifted. He pushed the boundaries of what was was acceptable for radio at the time, by his clever use of words. The listener had to read between the lines, to really appreciate his writing. Again what I really like, is your reaction time and that smile of "getting it". As a teenager when these came out, you felt like you were on the way to adulthood, because this older person said it so well. It was always fresh in his mind ,what those emotions and feelings were like when he was a younger person as well. Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band always gave a great concert performance as well. He could deliver in person, what you heard on the record with incredible energy. They were a very tight group and the horn player, Alto Reed was phenomenal in person as well. Keep up the great reactions and thoughts!

Gotta give credit to your audio quality. I remember riding my bike to the local music store as a kid to buy as many Bob Seger records (literal records) as I could.
I remember be amazed after seeing the credits that Glen Frey was a background vocalist. I was familiar with him from listening to my dad's 8 tracks of Hotel California and the Long Run.

I just scrolling through and came across your channel and I LOVE it!!! I am a huge hip hop head myself but a classic rock, soul, and pop head as well!! Your review of this song was so on point!! “surrounded by strangers I thought were my friend,..finding myself further and further from my home”. ❤️ Gets me every time! Fantastic channel ❤️✌️✌️

Bob Segar knows how to tell a story, and that great music to back it up.Wow.Soothing for the soul .The piano is similar to Bruce Hornsby's style.Just Fantastic.

Great reaction on Bob Seger. "Memory lane" you say. As we get older, our memories of youth take on greater and greater meaning. Bob taps right in... in Night Moves, he shows just how powerful two words can be: "I remember"...

Abra, Its awesome seeing you appreciate great songs such as this. Makes a person think of days gone and how simpler things were in those days. Bob Segar is great driving music where you can think of experiences you may have had years ago
