How come that your graphite drawings dont shine? ❤

He used brushes instead of blending torts . Paper has hills and valleys , tooth . When you push the tooth down with blending torts it can create a shiny surface over the graphite . With a paint brush , you can allow the graphite to fill the tooth without pushing the tooth down as much and helps to avoid that glossy sheen.
