The claimed ARAI mileage for Maruti Wagon R Manual Transmission Petrol Variant on the Highway is 20.51 kmpl.. On our test drive returns an average around 18 kmpl.. Wagon r provides ABS & Airbag as an option across all variant..

Ignis or Wagon r - which one is better choice??
Both are good and value for money product from Suzuki..
If your budget permits & rear look of Ignis is ok for you , then Ignis is better choice.
Ignis:- 1.2L 4 cylinder motor (Better performance ,return almost same mileage)
Bigger platform (Better ride quality , handling & minimum Body roll )
Better Safety (Base variant (Sigma) offers ABS,EBD & Airbag). {(Wagon R provide ABS & Airbag as option across model line up👍)}
Better Features ( Second variant onwards)
Any way final choice is yours take a proper test drive (back to back) and find out which one suit you the most.
