Brings back some great memories from my younger days chasing construction work all over California. Back then people treated you like friends every where I went. I miss those days, every one now is supposed to hate each other and rat you out if you don’t fit a certain type. Love you brother from Arkansas. May the sun rise on you every morning with Gods love and peace in your heart.
Man that rig brings back some great memories as I had a 1970s EL Dorado 8foot truck camper that looked exactly like your interior. We drove that 1988 Ford all over the western US with that camper on and just stopped here or there visiting places and enjoying the freedom it offered us. Good luck with your channel and in life. 😊 currently in New Mexico USA
Tennessee. The smoke (lol) one of my fav vids is from another truck camper Crazy Quady he fried burgers in his camper it got so smokey I still laugh thinking about it. Thanks for sharing!
I live in a small town and was stunned by the noise level outside of your truck. Sounds like there is an interstate close by. I will be on the road with you soon!
Darrell here from lower Alabama. This is the first time seeing your video. Do you live full-time in the camper? In 1975 I lived in a 16 foot Shasta travel trailer for a year. This was in Daleville, AL. The lot rent was $16.00 per month and my electricity bill never went over $10.00 a month. Easy and inexpensive living then!
I am looking to make a run up Nova Scotia, Prince Edwards, and Newfoundland and Labrador. Love the video because you keep it real. I mean camping at a Walmart, CostCo, and such is brilliant on you and them. Win/Win! Nothing like cooking in a hot iron skillet pan! Damn son I did not even come across your channel until today. I have to go back and review it. I have a 2017 Ram Tradesman with Starcraft RoadStar as a camper. I am currently watching from a mountain on Taiwan!
That old slide-in camper must be heavy but looks to be in decent shape. I ran a pop-up slide-in camper in an F150 much lighter but had to crank up the top if you wanted to stand up and use the overhead bunk. I stay on the East Coast of the USA North Carolina is my home base. How are you staying warm? I am looking to upgrade to a diesel heater instead of propane.
Nice , yes I looked at a popup truck camper the Alaskan truck popup camper , was gonna buy one but it sold , this camper is working out pretty good , my heat is propane runs decent not bad
Love to visit Nevada, I keep warm with my propane furnace and extra blankets if needed, but my furnace usually will roast me out, merry Christmas and new years to u also
I live in Staunton VA which is located in the Shenandoah Valley. I am building a camper out of a 14' box truck which I will live out of in my town. I have arranged places to park at night and will only be roaming when I go on trips.
I wouldn't feel safe in a truck camper cause in today's world if shit goes down you gotta get outta there fast....you literally would step out of the camper catching left hooks to that jaw bone or get stabbed up trying to get in the truck lol....I have a class C and i can jump from the camper to the cab in seconds and be long gone 😆
Watching from the U.K., just being nosy and wondering if the cooking ever permeates your bedding and clothes. Open the window or skylight, please, as I can't see anything.😊
If you put the camera at the exact opposite angle so we could see meal prep and cooking fo9d you would get more subscribers. I am from Socal originally and now live in Central Arizona. For being from Newfoundland you don't have a noticeable accent
Appreciated the cookup. I do have a few questions. 1. That camper is very much cooking oriented and not ventilated well. How do you not always smell like hot dogs? 2. The beard.. being remote and needing to be presentable to a job, how the heck do you keep that junk clean? Or..any bits of your other junk for that matter? I'd stink to high heaven in about 3 days and fired for my hygiene alone. Is it a whores bath in the Costco bathroom? 3. The COLD. I HATE the cold. I can bear the heat uncomfortably, but the cold..freagin HURTS me. Is it miserable or manageable? 4. And this is important... $$ . Lets say you are making a decent living but have NO rent, no taxes, nothing but living expenses like food and water and gas.. but have a job.. you rely on retail parking bathrooms and such.... what exactly is the finance balance?
Great questions on all, u made me laugh so hard, I keep my beard clean everyday and I use soap, I work outside jobs so no one cares and I don't stink I have place to shower and I clean up like everyone else,

I'm in Texas, and would have loved to get one of those old slide-ins. It would be too heavy and big for my truck though, that is why I built mine.
Yea it's heavy would like a lighter one, what did u make as a camper
